We spent a month on the island and enjoyed the beautiful sites, friendly people, history, nature, bike trails, fishing, garden tour, good food and relaxation.
Find parking by the pier early morning, catch the trolley tour, see lighthouse and museum, shop on main street, miniature golf by the pool and public park under amazing live oaks that wrap and twist and are so huge!

If you haven't been to Overlook Park lately, you need to schedule a visit.
... you I was puzzled by some of the negative comments in other reviews --apparently by people who either expected some Disneyfied 'attraction' or else just stopped for five minutes at the little City park on Rt 17.
