This was a brilliant day out and a really great walk for variety in stunning scenery and mountain terrain that takes you to the heart of Mt Aspiring National Park.
Even the drive INTO the national park was great - saw about 7 para gliders coming off a huge cliff face - and beautiful waterfalls and the river along the way.

It’s pretty easy going along the river valley and very scenic inside the park with snow capped mountains, towering craggy rock formations, glimpses of glaciers and waterfalls.
My husband and I drove our camper van over to Mount Aspiring National Park for the day and took the Rob Roy Glacier hike, which provided us with a few hours of challenging and beautiful trails!

What a beautiful and well kept Public Gardens .We walked through when we stopped at Omaru Top 10 park .Lovely stroll through the gardens .It takes about 10 Mins to get down to town centre.
