What travellers are saying
- DrStoshFairbury, IL3 contributionsI drove from Illinois to ride in the 2023 Cardinal Greenway Century Ride. Fantastic time! Kudos to the staff, board and volunteers. The trail is beautiful! I will be coming back to ride it again. I enjoyed the trail so much, that I rode 50 miles on it the next day.Written 1 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DKPuckMuncie, IN904 contributionsIt is a great place for wine and live music. Came here for the first time recently, and it's a great venue to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy some local, live music. They have a summer concert series which is great!Written 19 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Timothy WDetroit, MI9 contributionsLast week I went to Muncie to see a friend visiting from Turkmenistan. She suggested we meet at the Museum and I agreed. I have a Master's in Art History and love going to museums of any size. I checked the website beforehand, but when I arrived I was absolutely stunned. It was FAR more than I could have expected. The range and depth of the collections was staggering. No "showstoppers" but a more than solid collection of significant pieces (a small bronze of Lincoln by Daniel Chester French, who sculpted the monumental one in Washington; several sculptures by Paul Manship, who did the Prometheus at Rockefeller Center, etc). An encyclopedic view of American landscape painting. The collections of Asian and Oceanic Art are larger and more significant than I've Ever seen in a museum of this size. It compares more than favorably with any College Art Museum I've ever seen, and it's better in the size and depth of its collection than several civic and private Art Museums I've been to. For a city like Muncie, this is indeed a Treasure.Written 1 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- 256gvRochelle, IL42 contributionsThis place is pretty small. We came from out of state because we were in the area for a work trip. We have 11 children, four of which are teenagers. There really wasn’t anything to do for the 10+ up crew. The exhibits were cute and the free sand art when you present a finished coloring page (see website for details) was a fun touch. We came on the one free Saturday that they have per month and I’m glad we didn’t pay for it. Enjoyable but too small to pay admission.Written 18 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- FlyingHistoryDayton, OH350 contributionsI've been to games at over half of the D1 college football stadiums in the US, but smallish Ball St is one of my favorites. Very reasonable ticket prices, and always easy to get tickets. Free parking within easy walking distance to the stadium, well maintained bathrooms and lots of Port-a-Johns around the outside of the stadium. Family friendly, good concessions. Great place to catch a ballgame.Written 24 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Jacob HIndianapolis, IN356 contributionsOne of my favorite activities in Muncie! This is the largest planetarium in state of indiana and is at Ball State. Generally at least one Friday night and proceeding Saturday afternoon they have various educational shows at the site. Generally, Saturdays they have 3-4 different ones starting on the hour., so you could watch different shows and stay for hours. They also sometimes have activities before shows for visitors. The shows are also free by the way!Written 23 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jacob HIndianapolis, IN356 contributionsLargest university orchid collection in U.S. and they just recently expanded the greenhouse. Generally open one Saturday a month and weekdays. Free to visit.
