Fabulous large sandy beach,very safe and excellent for families.A sheltered seating area for the older ones to look out to the sea which is quite comforting.Highly recommended.

Both days were met with CLEAN sand, crashing waves, happy families, one lifeguard save (rough surf took a swimmer too far our) the guards were on it quick with boards, buoys and boats out to rescue the swimmer.
As the tide goes out at the beach entrance by Mile Road there is a wonderful spot for kids to explore tidal pools.
