This is a wonderful park with a playground and picnic area - and when you walk through the tunnel you discover that you are right near the beach front of Lake Michigan!
The sand was smooth and clear, the water was awesome, there was less of a crowd than the main state park beach, there is beach volleyball, picnic areas and a terrific playground.

This is a really nice park covering about 5 and a half acres with lots of walking paths, mature trees, a unique fountain, gazebo, fish pond and a some memorial markers explaining the the Dutch settlement of Holland.
During the tulip festival vendors set up in the park and sale all sorts of goodies, you can spend a few hours here looking around and taking photos of the tulips, the park is very nice.

This small park at the end of West 142nd Ave is like unwrapping your favorite candy you only get once in awhile and only comes in a small size but is a treasured treat.
I have lived in West Michigan my entire life and just visited this park for this first time during the summer of 2017.
