Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed for 1 night in our campervan - lovely little spot camping amongst the vines (for free !). Arrived late afternoon - had a small personal tour / tasting with one of the ladies who works there. Bought their 26 euro meal boxes for the night which were amazing! Home cooked pork with cheese, bread and desert - portions were massive (had enough for lunch the next day!). Would recommend!

Medoc wine trip was up the Garonne by boat, lunch and some wine tasting on board, stop at Le Refuge, then over to Haut Medoc to bus and to a winery for wine tasting.

Le Refuge was magnificent and the highlight of the day. I enjoyed sitting in front of the large picture window across the grasses and water. Brilliant.

As for the boat trip, not so bad. Too much talking can be invasive, wine tasted at Chateua Lasseen was ordinary. Overall a long day but enjoyable.

A million percent recommend this cute vineyard. My partner and I were picked up from the bus stop and taken on an awesome tour around the chateau and into the cellar. Audrey spoke perfect english and was happy to answer all of our questions, she was also very knowledgeable. We did both the wine tasting and the sausage and cheese tasting, recommend both pairing the wine and the cheese is unmatched. The owner came out and was very friendly to us. After we got dropped in Blayes where we went to go see the castle which was amazing as well. Awesome day trip from bordeaux. They also didn’t pressure us into buying wine after (but we did because we loved it)

An interesting citadel. Easy and free parking. Several restaurants and other eating places inside. Nice views. Toilets are very expensive!

A beautiful route along the right banks of the river, with nice houses and gardens, fishermen's huts on stilts, cave houses. Take your time and make nice pictures. Unfortunately, there are no places where you can drink or eat, but you can do that in Blaye or Bourg.

The bac blaye-lamarque is a very relaxing and effective way to cross the Gironde. It is regular, takes '30 minutes. The most negative point might be its accessibility for disabled people.

The girls spoke great English and were very knowledgeable. There was a variety of Goods for sale but, as with anything with "tourist" in it - they were overpriced. If you just need information regarding the Citadel or Blaye then it's worth visiting.

A fantastic insight into the world of Roman everyday life. The audio-visual presentation brings it to life. The visit to the villa itself is a guided tour. Despite the efforts of our charming and knowledgeable guide you need a better knowledge of French than mine to completely understand.

While visiting the bordeaux region, we stopped by the Blaye wines center and had a chance to taste some of the famous « cote de Blaye ». Very interesting, and very good!
    I strongly recommend this visit!
