It is an awesome spot on earth, perfect for loners, couples, families with small children or teens.
Grown ups got to kayak around the coves, teens got to dive off nearby boulders, and during summers the whole family can enjoy a little Shakespeare by the lake.

The towns around here seem pretty dog friendly and So Lake Tahoe's Heavenly Village is great for strolling, eating, shopping, photo ops etc for the whole family.
The kids found a wonderful ice cream shop, and there was easy access to a large supermarket with a great variety of wine and beer :-).
