Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely clean beach, not blessed with golden sands but nice gentle sandy entry in to the sea when not at high tide so feels like safe swimming for kids. Like the fact that during high season the main beach has no dogs and people were respecting the rules. Cafes, chippy, ice cream all within a short walk.

Walking out of Pwllheli, walked a short stretch of the Llyn Coastal Path.
Nice well maintained and sign posted coastal path.
Windy at Easter, but still a good walk for the kids.
Only wish we had of had more time!

Remarkable setting, stunning views across the bay. Takes some finding, wriggling down narrow lanes, but very worth the effort as the garden is also lovely. Superb natural maintenance regime in the orchard. A real treat.

Even in not the best weather this beach was worth a visit. The views are beautiful and the beach huts a colourful addition. Lots of families were enjoying the stream that flows across the beach and others the beach cafe. Just be wary of the parking options. £5 a day seems to be the going rate but you can park for free if you are a National Trust member with a short walk to the beach.

Well worth visiting. Information for visitors is well laid out and there is space to sit quietly and contemplate its history.

I love this beach so much. We enjoyed exploring and playing in the surf. It's a well kept secret, camping and holiday homes are all options for accommodation.

More for walking than sunbathing as it is usually quite windy, and with even summer temperatures not normally above 20c it can feel chilly. But it is a lovely long stretch of sand

Another fab paddleboarding session in Cricceth. Andy was as helpful and kind as last year and this year assisted with hiring a kayak too for my husband and little ones. The equipment is all great, location is fab, Andy is so calm and doesn’t make you feel like you need to be an expert. I’m actually really nervous on water and it was nice to feel so supported and prepared. Lovely couple of hours on the water in a beautiful location. Hopefully see you again! 🏰 🐬 🦭 🌞

It's difficult to overstate how good the flecsi bus is. We used it three times while walking the more remote sections of the coast path. Easy to book, good communications and exceptionally low fares.

The RNLI at Criccieth was a good place to visit for an hour, the volunteers there showed us around their rescue boat and explained to our kids the type of work they do. Thank you!

I felt that this was a lovely village and beach that would be better without the tourists. I get that I am part of the problem. I also liked the rabbits that live in the bank that will, one day, finish subsiding onto the NT car park where there are not enough toilets.

What a fantastic place. Called in whilst staying in Nefyn on a Friday afternoon and there was such a great atmosphere. Great beer and just a great place to spend a bit of time. Will definitely go back if, hopefully when, next back in the area.
