Spiagge di Anse Marron
#2 of 27 Outdoor Activities in La Digue Island
We had a fantastic day, the hike is actually more fun the the beach itself even though the beach (and many other beaches you pass along the way) is amazing.
You will be rewarded with this wonderful place of nature inkluding a beautiful beach, aesthetic rock formations and a rather big sea water bassin perfect for taking a bath without waves and also some shadow for a...

The crystal clear breakers are quite powerful but well worth braving to get to the quieter waters beyond.Very few people compared to the more accessible beaches make for a lovely beach afternoon.
Definitely one of the most beautiful beaches on the Seychelles - hard to say which one was our number one :-) the colours of the sand, the sea and the sky, the palm treas, the rocks.... just soooo typical Seychell...
Anse Source D'Argent
#7 of 27 Outdoor Activities in La Digue Island
You cannot visit the Seychelles without taking in the incredible geological rock formations and fabulous beaches; Anse Source D'Argent is THE picture representing these wonderful islands.
The silver granite blocks that separate several stretches of white sand add a touch of splendour to this gorgeous site and also create a number of smaller secluded beaches.

Grand Anse
#8 of 27 Outdoor Activities in La Digue Island
As with many of the Seychelles' beaches be careful regarding stepping on to coral and on to granite rocks in the water and regarding swimming and snorkelling around the granite rocks in the water.
The beaches are well worth the bike ride and at Grand Anse in particular you'll find an unspoilt beach with barely a footprint.

Another one of the breathtaking beaches on this side of the island.......we loved cycling there too - felt liek good exercise to be rewarded with such a wonderful spot of paradise at the end.
At the time also the sunlight is the best for pictures, so get here early and you'll enjoy ones of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

We flyfished (catch and release) and swam and snorkelled which is unusual to do all on the beaches on la digue.
Location was perfect; just a short walk for a great view and a wonderful beach where snorkeling was great.

This is probably the only beautiful beach on La Digue where you can be completely on your own! Therefore you need to do a little hiking and climbing between the rocks at the coast.
It's the way to a beautiful beach.

But the view, if you turn back at this place is unique : the tiny beach with the coconut trees, the ocean with the reef, and the view on sisters islands, Félicité and Marianne !
