Hiking Mt Jo, makes every beginner addicted to mountains, teaches about the beauty of reaching a peak, and enjoying quiet time while drinking water, and inhaling Nature.
There is a $10 parking fee is you park the ADK Loj, but from there is a short walk to the trail head and then nice hike up to the summit.
