Highly recommended for everyone to experience the sunset view from Oia and visite one of the most beautiful destinations in the world, the magnificent island of Santorini...!
This very chic and pituresque village, with ancient windmills on the crests and views over the sea is worth a visit at any time of day, and if there's a magnificant sunset, what a bonus.

Amazing views, photographic scenery everywhere you turn your head around, blue domes, the marble... Everything about it is amazing, and it's definitely worth a stroll.
From the little alley that takes you to the perfect view of the three churches (the famous picture everyone has seen), to finding your way to the windmills, shopping, and eating ... it's all a delight.

Byzantine castle ruins on a high hill, merit a visit, for the history of the castle and the amazing view around, overlooking Oia, the blue seaview, a splendour, land of harmony and magic moments.
Amazing historical site open to the public with mesmerizing views of the sunrise and sunset.

Oia is absolutely stunning and has many amazing landmarks.
We were there in August so a lot of tourists but even that didn't impact the view.
#1 of 6 Sights & Landmarks in Fira
The view in front of the church is exceptional, as you can see the whole caldera, Oia, Imerovigli, nearby islands Nea and Palia Kameni, Therasia
Lovely architecture and artwork and breathtaking views when you step outside.
#2 of 6 Sights & Landmarks in Fira
Situated just at the start of the epic shopping funnel, the church can easily be missed (not that you can miss it, it's pretty big) The shops do draw your attention, and the view over the sea is breathtaking, but...
Once you exit the cathedral or the courtyard you are met with the stunning views of the Caldera and the coast.
#3 of 6 Sights & Landmarks in Fira
The Cathedral Church Of Candlemas Of The Lord is situated on the cliff of Fira, and it's a landmark of the city.
Outside is a pretty square where street musicians sometimes play, and fine sea and Fira views.

It is worth the short walk up some steps to get the site but the view is spectacular and well worth it to take that photo you will treasure for a lifetime.
Bit of a steep climb ,but well worth the effort ,with stunning views across the Volcano ,and out to sea .
