Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a beautiful art gallery. The artist is a Greek local artist with a lot of talent. His artwork was costly; the most miniature painting was worth a few thousand dollars. They ship everywhere via DHL for a fee. I appreciate his work; it is worth a visit, even if it is just to look and admire.

We had no intention of purchasing anything significant in Greece. However we found this wonderful art gallery amid the bustle of Thira. Nicholas showed us a number of paintings, was very knowledgeable about their artists and convinced us to invest. The whole proces was conducted very professionally.

Take your time to enjoy the different collection in this gallery, where they house unique pieces of some pretty talented Greek artists.

The staff were friendly, helpful and well informed about the different collection & artists, sharing details & background on specific collections of interest to us.

We even got details for international shipping possibilities if we want to consider shipping home, such a great option.

This place is so worth a visit- unique & inspiring.

Actually, it’s open in May 2024. Truly unique, artistic creations of the type you won’t see elsewhere in Greece. The two artists, Margaret (glass) and Jordan (brass and metals) are on site and open to discuss what they do with you.

Everything from the simple paperweights to the complex sailing ships and hanging artworks are there. It’s worth it just to see it all. If you buy, that’s an added bonus. I left with three pieces.

What a refreshing place to visit away from the crowd that come on cruise ships and invade the island . One hour and more of serenity and exquisite art collection

Roulis Art Gallery features several very talented local Greek artists. The paintings are so beautiful and special. There are oil paintings (their specialty in my opinion), as well as watercolors. Rea and Fanis from the store are also helpful, knowledgeable, and very kind people. Highly recommend making a stop. Experiencing the art and getting to know the store people was one of the highlights of our trip!

My husband and I were looking for something unique and found what we were looking for at Nikola’s. The staff were patient in allowing us to consider and ask questions about many different art pieces before we finally settled on our purchase. It was too heavy to carry in our luggage so it was shipped to our house. The articles were packed with a lot of attention so that they wouldn’t break in transit. We also received some follow up emails ensuring everything was okay. Wonderful people to work with and beautiful pieces of art!

We had such a lovely experience with Sorina. Everything was personal and nothing too much trouble. We also didn’t feel obliged to buy anything, although we did get two exquisite pieces!
    Would definitely recommend a visit!

There are so many jewellery shops in Santorini and navigating them to find quality at a reasonable price can be overwhelming. Fortunately, we found Koukla and over several days ended up buying a lot more than we originally planned. The staff are so wonderful making this shop a truly wonderful experience. Lots of variety of rings, necklaces and bracelets. We spent hours trying on the merchandise before deciding on the ones we really liked. Located close to the heart of the retail precinct but just enough away from the crowds. Highly recommended.

I never thought I would ever fall in love with an oil! I stumbled into this shop just because of the lovely scent and friendly lady smiling at her door. Unlike persistent sales person, she had so much more warmth and a genuine helpful character. The oils are absolutely amazing and my favourite is the primrose! If you are in Santorini this place is a little gem of a shop!. I won’t be visiting Santorini again but I know I will ordering my primrose very soon!

If you're looking for books about the fascinating island of Santorini, this is the place. It's got a wonderful stock of books for both adults and children and, while it also stocks some nice souvenirs, it's also a haven of intelligence and thoughtfulness in a town that's often overwhelmed by tourists. Your one-stop shop for soul and body. If you're approaching from the bus terminal it's on your way to the town centre, but if you're coming from another direction you'll need to aim downhill and inland a few little blocks. Absolutely worth seeking out if you want to know about this amazing island, it's history, archaeology and geography.
