We didn't do any touring here, but we had a delightful picnic. There is a walk-up bar outside where you place your order. They put everything (glasses, napkins, cutlery, etc...) in a basket for us and we had no trouble finding a table to enjoy it. We chose toasts and pate, along with some sparkling wine and it made for a refreshing and relaxing afternoon. Besides the items we ordered, they had baguettes, chips, cheese, veggies, ice cream, various wines and cocktails, and desserts. It was a very extensive menu and what we had was excellent quality.

interesting visit, nice history linked to the war and good bargain wines. Also have a nice area to sit in the shade to have a glass of wine with lunch

We had a great tour of Chateau Beaurang hosted by Delphine, one of the two daughters of the family. We arranged it quite last minute but Delphine was able to accommodate us with no issues. The tour was conducted in fluent English throughout and Delphine was happy to answer questions as they arose. She was completely unfazed by the antics of our four children (aged 1-5). The tour and tasting lasted around an hour, taking in the nearby vines, the winery itself and culminating in a tasting of the grand vin, their second wine and the rose they produce, all of which were delicious. There was little walking required which was perfect for us with small children and on a hot day. A nice touch was the corner of the tasting room set up with toys for children to occupy them whilst the adults tasted the wine. All in all, highly recommended. Merci Delphine!

Lovely visit and tour of the vineyard. Agnes was fantastic - incredibly knowledgable, patient , expressive and entertaining - and above all else, clearly happy in her work. We have come away with a new appreciation of the hard work invoking creating the wine … oh and the tasting was wonderful.

Of all the wineries we visited during our trip to Bordeaux, this was our favourite. Reason being that this is a very modernist take on wine making. There was a clear sense of combining innovative wine making techniques with beautiful architectural design and aesthetics. I don't want to spoil any surprises but the way that this was interweaved with technology was also entertaining. When you think that all this modernist thought and innovation was housed inside a gorgeous building, it was hard to have much to complain about. I would strongly recommend this to anyone that enjoys seeing not just the old and traditional but also the new and ground breaking.

Our guide Sonia made us all fall in love with the chateau, the wine and the history. She explained everything clearly and with great passion. We were also interested in visiting the chateau for its architecture, and it met our expectations. Highly recommended!

This was the last stop of the day for our vineyard tour and it didn’t disappoint. A nice smaller family run business with a great cellar and tasting room. We sampled 4 of their wines, each one very good. Our hostess was extremely friendly and welcoming and did a nice job explaining their products

As the team said “ the chateau is a cocoon to relax and unwind” and so it is.
The gracious yet warming Chateau only has three rooms so you will never be disrupted as you unwind.
We had the four colours dinner that played tribute to the colours of the Bic pen matched with the chateaus fine wines, a culinary journey we will never forget.

Had a very nice impromptu visit to Chateau Soutard on our recent outing to Saint-Emilion. Although we didn’t book in advance (recommended), they were able to fit us in for a wine tasting. Everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful and we enjoyed a bottle out in the lovely courtyard afterwards. The only thing to consider is that there is no food/snacks available for purchase on site, unless you’ve pre-booked.

We were given an interesting presentation of the whole process of winemaking, from the growing of the plants to the bottling.

A very nice visit. And fun! We had a wonderful time with a generous host (Arnaud)🙂
