Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went with family. Beautiful maintained gardens. Well reserved history. Learnt a lot. Also saw the change of guard. Grateful it is open to the public. Not a castle to be missed.

Really well kept park, plenty for toddlers to do. Grounds are well kept and clean and plenty of baby changing areas. Yes food is expensive but what do you expect in a theme park. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with our two year old. Peppa pig world is very cute and worth a visit!

Visited on the first Saturday in June 2024 and what a great experience. A fascinating place, full of information. We would certainly recommended taking one of the guided tours, (included in the admission price) they last about an hour and are led by volunteers, ours was very informative and interesting. The entry ticket is also valid for 12 months so I suspect we will go back for another visit in the next 12 months.
We would not however go back to the cafe that is there run by Benugo, staff in the one in the entrance were not particularly friendly and the only Gluten Free options was Cauliflower soup or a pre-wrapped brownie - very poor

As if the Royal Pavillion wasn't fabulous enough, the highlight of our visit was the incredibly knowledgeable guide in the banqueting room. Sadly, I don't know that learned, -and gossipy- gentleman's name, but he is a tattooed version of Yul Brynner in the King and I.
That charming historian is worth a 1,000 guide books if you are lucky enough to meet him!

Twenty years since our last visit and it was really good to see improvements and extra ships to visit, the Mary Rose Exhibit was amazing. The submarine was incredible. Victory is undergoing major repair works so was limited to the central aspect of the ship. Ran out of time so never made it to Warrior. Definitely need more than one day to see everything in detail.

We only had time to visit one sight on this trip and I'm glad we chose Hampton Court Palace. The grounds are beautiful. The self-guided tour of the palace was full of interesting bits of information about the wives of Henry VIII and about life during their times. I think my favorite room inside was the Great Hall!

Saw a sign for local TulipFest at Tulleys so thought why not ?

What a blaze of colour and so many varieties of tulips. Absolutely stunning !! Gave a lot of people opportunity of some great family shots and / or selfies.

Heard a rumour the size will be doubled next year so if so, will choose a warm day to enjoy....

There were a few food outlets for those wanting to make more of the time out with family including opportunity to toast marshallows.

Tulip gifts were available - whilst the flowers seemed pricey i think if a lovely gift to mother or mother in law after a nice day out knowing they would last a few weeks as potted bulbs rather than a cut bouquet then it seemed reasonable.

Tickets for entry slightly pricier than i would like but was lovely to visit so felt it was worth it especially as unlikely to get to the Netherlands.

Overall highly recommend especially if they enlarge it... as highly unusual and beautiful. Everyone will have a favourite tulip...
