This beach park is highly accessible with a great sandy shore and calm shallow waters for family kayaking and swimming with young kids.

We live in Sechelt and when our adult kids come to stay we always go kayaking with Pedals and Paddles- it is a spectacular area looking up the inlet and with trees coming to the water.
As for the kayaking, they prepared my husband and children wonderfully with instructions, maps and necessary tools.

The energy and genuine enthusiasm of our guides was contagious and although our kids were a little nervous at first, before long the guides convinced the kids to feed and hold the animals - and they loved it!
Great activity for kids and families but I would recommend it to anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast who enjoys animals - have your cameras ready because you will want to use them often!
