Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited in April for a surprise birthday treat for my hubby.
Fantastic experience from the first email communication through to the trek. Sarah & Mary were very welcoming. The morning trek was really informative and well organised. The Llamas are adorable and wonderful to be so close to. I would highly recommend Catanger Llamas, in-fact I have, a friend has already booked for a treat for her mum! 🦙

An excellent museum with a good display of cars and interesting information about them. Some racing bike and bikers too. I'm old enough to remember most of the cars when they raced and found the changes and developments over the years fascinating. Plenty of interactive displays and things for younger visitors too.
We went on the race simulators which was fun.
Well sign posted. Large car park. Greeted at the door. I was feeling good straight away. All the staff were pleasant and the food from the small cafe just right for a day out.

The only disappointment of the day is the chequered flag!! We had a fantastic time on this experience. The single seater experience alone is fantastic and great value I felt. We booked in for 14:30 on Saturday afternoon, the signs at the circuit to get to the experience were pretty clear, there was British GT event on the main circuit so had to stop at a gate and show the confirmation, then we was let through and had to drive around and park in the F1 paddock behind the wing. There were refreshments and we could watch the on track racing from there whilst waiting to be called for our briefing.

The briefing was very useful in tips for driving the cars and circuit, it also was more relaxed than some of the ones you get at kart centres etc, I left the briefing feeling excited and confident.

Once we completed the briefing we then followed a mini bus out to the Stowe Circuit for the experience. In the pits we got kitted up in helmet and gloves and a balaclava that you take away with you, so more hygienic than the local Kart centre, and family can come and take photos as you get in the car etc, which was great.

Once we got going we were sent out in 3 groups of 4 to follow a pace car for 3 laps or so, then we were let loose on our own.

The experience is fantastic the cars feel really quick and grippy and the track is a great size so you can learn it quickly and get several laps in to try and improve your times.

There is no worries about overtaking because they have a blue flag system so you pull over to let cars pass when shown the blue flag, which worked very well, and drivers who ignored the blue flags were taken to the pits and given a warning. This system worked really well, I was worried about this system after reading the reviews from some saying they had gotten into a tangle, but it works brilliantly if you just follow what they tell you to do a be patient for a few corners.

After the chequered flag came out, you return to the pits, and the final thing is to hand your go pro in to get the video and they give you a print out of your times, then off you go. I would also add all of the instructors for the experience were fantastic and knew their stuff and treated all of us respectfully and left me feeling they had more faith in us than any other motor experience I had done.

The video is expensive but was good quality and a great momento. We also took advantage of the 50% off for the Silverstone Museum which is a must visit and getting some action on the main circuit to watch as well was brilliant, all in all a fantastic day.

If I could change one thing it would be to be able to get a telemetry print out for your best laps, I also get this may not be all that feasible but would be good to see how your driving progresses over the laps.

    Top Marks Silverstone!

A bit difficult to find as you have to go down an alley to find it.No signs.Admission for seniors is £3.The first floor has a complete and comprehensive narrative of the history of the town, which I found very interesting.
Free parking in the nearby square.

I've attended a number of workshops at Vitreus Art. You always get a warm welcome from Mike and Jenny and expert training. I find each workshop easy to follow and I have always been delighted with the end result. I started as a complete novice. There are a selection of workshops now in addition to the glass courses. I've also tried some of these and they are the same high standard I have come to expect. The shop has a beautiful display of unique items to purchase, from lots of artists so if you are looking for something different or a special gift I would recommend a visit.

This is such a versatile venue, it was the obvious choice for my party! with the big doors on the field opened up, we freely moved in and out of the building, enjoying the evening sun before it got too chilly. The sound system they have worked perfectly, I just plugged in my tablet and my playlist did it's thing. Emma (the Event Manager) was really accommodating and helpful when preparing for it and had suggestions and ideas when I was a bit stuck, the bar team were great and the whole night was really fun. Huge thank you to Emma and the team! :)

I will cycle here or walk as often as I can for the fresh air and brilliant view from the top. A great place to think, eat lunch, and hang out with friends. Best spot ever.

We love coming to visit Wappenham farm.
Such a lovely place to let the kids get out in the fresh air, always plenty of parking and different events throughout the year. Our favourite is always Christmas time as the kids love to visit Santa and the elves, have a warm drink and a snack in the tipi.
The Christmas shop always feels magical with all of the beautiful decorations and it’s become a tradition to let the kids pick one each year. X

I’ve done a few track days, a bit of driver tuition and expected this to be quite a dull day. I was so wrong, Ben, my instructor asked what I wanted out of the day, which for me was driver tuition. Ben assessed my driving and fairly quickly we were doing trail braking drills on the circuit before heading off to the slippery stuff to explore the limits (and be a hooligan) Nothing but encouragement from Ben and even when I missed a braking point and we squirreled and scrubbed our way round the corner his only comment was “let’s try braking a little earlier next lap eh” . Pay for the extra lunch and take someone just so they can video you doing donuts from the roof!

Set on the site of an Iron Age hillfort, Whittlebury's parish church typifies rural church architecture, reflecting several phases of building and a c19th restoration. The churchyard has a pleasant ambience.

If you like a boot sale then this is a good one to attend, plenty of stalls, well attended, and plenty of bargains to be had.
