What travellers are saying
- dessert queen2 contributionsBeen meaning to go ever since I moved to Norfolk. Finally found the time last summer and glad I did. A great experience and very informative. Went on the tour in the jeep. Not for anyone with a bad back as it was bumpy but I loved it.Written 4 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alice P1 contributionVisited just before Christmas, it didn't matter that the museum was closed as there was so much fascinating information on the boards and the table tops. Well worth a stop!Written 29 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- rosie17 contributionsWe visited the marshes as we were holidaying in the area and this would be a relatively new experience for us, we’ve watched and spotted birds across the U.K. but never in an environment like Cley, so we were quite excited to go. The centre offer all day parking and access to the hides and for two people it came to £11 (unsure how the costs divvy up), they have bathrooms, a shop and a cafe and it’s a great reprieve from the wind.
We went over to hides 1-3 to see the birds and having never visited marshlands before we were enjoying the scenery and talking to volunteers etc (there’s a migratory toad season) and there were a few handful of people who can only be described as ‘competitive birdwatchers’ who huffed and puffed at any one who wasn’t clearly a pro, to the extent that when a beginners tour joined the hide we were in, they complained and instantly left. It was really disappointing to see this from other members of the birdwatching community.
Whilst I understand that some people take their hobbies very seriously, birdwatching or even a basic interest in nature is for everybody and everybody is welcome regardless of years of involvement etc. you don’t need anything to see birds other than a warm coat and some patience!Written 12 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Wonderful to watch birds from the windows. Only downside is the path is a bit steep & uneven if you’re unsteady on your feetWritten 2 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BluebellplasnewyddCardiff, UK2,000 contributionsThis whole area is flatlands and wetlands. There is a drivable track to the beach and a small carpark at £2-3. The beach is shingle, straight with amazing almost endless vistas in both directions disappearing into the list when we visited. There were plenty of bird watchers and also fishermen taking their boats onto the shore before winter. Alas no seals at all in late November but worth a look even if you are not walking to Blakeney Point.Written 3 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Azeem DGreater London, UK101 contributionsWe visited Cafe 10 for the first time as my wife had seen the menu previously.
We were not disappointed. Both dishes we ordered they were piping hot and very tasty. The service was prompt and efficient.

We were shown to a table in the window which was a lovely spot. Not crowded in and pleasant atmosphere.
We were served quite quickly and we both had the full English with fried eggs. The sausages and bacon were really good quality and everything was hot. The only complaint my husband had was his egg was not quite cooked enough for him but mine was fine.

- Considered ReviewNorwich, UK129 contributionsHigh art, high prices - but you get to see some wonderful pieces and, occasionally, some wonderful artists. Eclectic exhibitions of multiple artists at the same time. Spacious with a central desk allowing pleasant browsing in a refined atmosphere. Definitely worth a look round. Perhaps something will catch your eye?Written 3 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- machinmadYaxley, UK2,508 contributionsTucked away in the farming countryside this ruined Manor House has a rich history. The info boards describe how one local family made their fortune and lost it, resulting in the Manor House having to be dismantled so it’s stone-work could be sold to raise cash to pay their debts.
There are lots of clearly signed footpaths so make sure your walk them to get a good view of the different angles of this property.Written 22 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carly190Bicester, UK71 contributionsWelcoming friendly well organised church. As on holiday in the area we wanted to visit one of the local churches & settled on St. Andrew’s church located centrally in Holt. There happened to be 3 baptisms on the day & the church was packed. The vicar and supporting team made sure all participants were made to feel welcome whilst keeping the focus on the baptismal families and friends. Beautiful building & setting. Would recommend.Written 27 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
