Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An interesting old pier which has kept much of its charm. Some old fashioned attractions to keep both adults and children amused, and then there is the lovely view to enjoy.
A lovely location and a contrast to Great Yarmouth. My only negative is the parking arrangements, why is cash not accepted? Many older people struggled ans gave up trying to pay.

A great way to spend an afternoon! Thank you to Kate for a really informative tour and imparting her knowledge of gin making. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about botanicals and tasting all the Adnams gins, whisky’s and vodkas, can’t wait to try my own gin!!! Would highly recommend, a great gift idea.

A lovely, little museum with friendly volunteers and a special attraction for children where they can save the bear from a shipwreck.

Fabulous gin tour on 2nd August 2022. Our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable, delivered her information clearly and in a friendly manner. Informative tour with history of Adnams explained and the background to the distillery side of the business. We saw all aspects of the production and ended with an unhurried and extensive tasting session. Would thoroughly recommend.

Iconic beach lined with those wonderful and colourful huts with lots of cafes and ice cream shops too - and dog friendly. Great for a warm day and with plenty of parking nearby - get there early as it fills up quickly!

Great experience - lovely festival, great music, good food, lovely friendly family atmosphere.
A bit too hot the day we went - but better than wet and muddy!
Rumer and Freya Ridings were amazing! Snow Patrol great too.
We parked in day parking for the Sunday, arriving early. We knew it was a walk from the car park but it was an hour's walk - so do bear that in mind, especially with young children and if it is either hot or wet!
The toilets were very clean, there were plenty of places to refill water bottles.
The main stadium had raised seating as well as big open space in the middle.
There were shady spots to be found around the stadium but some searching was needed. There were wooded areas which was good too.

It's a very fine fifteenth century church with a really good 20th century East window, showing Edmund (King of East Anglia) as prince, king, martyr, and saint.

It's unusual to see a fine 20th century stained glass window. The old one was blown out by the Luftwaffe, and the new one is a generous gift.

I loved this little place - free to enter and right by the seafront. It is full of interesting artefacts and memorabilia an a great place to just sit and chill.

We have been visiting the Southwold Summer Theatre (now known as Theatre on the Coast) for over 25 years and it has become an integral part of our summers in Southwold.
Sadly productions have become fewer and the audiences smaller but we REALLY REALLY enjoyed this week's Hello Norma Jean starring Vikki Michelle. Sadly she stumbled over a few of her lines in the first half but she and her grandson Joe carried the play admirably being on stage for nearly all of it. Well supported by other actors playing a gay love interest, a talk show host and the young Marilyn . The plot line was this elderly lady escapes her nursing home to fly to LA to announce to the world that she is the real Marilyn Monroe having faked her death all those years ago, And she did it really well! The audience was left wondering right until the very end......no spoilers here! Go and see for your self!

Great tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Making your own gin is good fun, but be careful with the number of different spirits you sample as you have to get down there flights of stairs afterwards!

Another fab Henham steam rally has been had by our family again this year, I have been coming here since a young girl and really enjoy it. Nothing beats the smell and the atmosphere here.
It’s nice to see the same stalls coming back year after year such as Help for hero’s, The cat’s protection, The police, Crime prevention, St Johns ambulance and all the stalls with handcrafted items.
It helped this year with the weather being lovely and having so much choice of things to eat.
I must say the toilets were spotlessly clean for the Sunday and were regularly checked which was nice to see and makes all the difference having toilet paper available, especially for the ladies toilets.
    Can’t wait for next year.

We come here every autumn to see the starlings and although some years are better than others, there is always something to watch, whether it be the marsh harrier or a group of water fowl. Fantastic views and plenty of car parking.
