- Steve T1 contributionI use this bar on a weekly basis and go there because I like the atmosphere, the music is great and the staff are friendly.
My only negative is that they need to stop slightly under measuring on the pints. The glass are festival PINTs which should be brimmed, not left with room for a head.

- Emma AMargate, UK14 contributionsAs part of my wife’s birthday celebration, seven of us spent a few hours learning how to make delicious cocktails at the Clockwork Cocktail Company.
The owner Chris greeted us with a welcome cocktail before inviting us each to join him behind the bar to make our choice of cocktails, and there were many to choose from. We each had two opportunities, but there could have been more, time allowing.
We learned the techniques used to deliver the perfect pour, were taught the origins of many aspects of cocktail making and picked up some handy hints to use at home.
We left having laughed (lots) and feeling a little tipsy, but not so bad as to not be able to enjoy the rest of our evening.
We’d all highly recommend the experience.

- SarnyBexleyheath, UK1,019 contributionsMy husband stopped by on a wander along the sea while waiting to go into Dreamland - it has a very relaxed atmosphere and very welcoming - all the staff are really friend and we felt like we were being looked after. We had a couple of drinks and some chips and Turkish bread and wished we had more time. This visit was a date night for my husband and I and had another fantastic evening with some delicious cocktails. Few outdoor seats when sunny too. Quirky interior.

- Navigate101040253722 contributionsI don't understand how one reviewer said they got rude service here, I have always found this place the most friendly, warm inviting venue. I reserved a table there for my birthday recently, and Conrad and Connor gave us the most attentive, lovely service. They bent over backwards to accommodate all our varying needs! Even turning the music down for us. Ages ranged from 30 to 70 and everyone had a great time. The cocktails and snacks were divine, non drinkers got great coffee etc. Plus, the management gave the table a tray of free tequila slammers that went down well. The decor is gorgeous and the seating and soft fluffy cushions everywhere are so comfy and welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gorgeous venue in a lovely spot in Margate's quaint old town. - daliAlessano, Italy9 contributionswe went to this venue Saturday night, the security, and especially the wonderful lady on the front desk who welcomed us in from the storm raging outside . The venue is beautiful, the drinks are fabulous, especially the cocktails and the Soundsystem and the music from 808 state was superb. Beautifully designed and really luxurious space to dance and socialise. Top marks faith in strangers. Mat and Leanne two of the Owners are Friendly and Will advise u of The best Attractions Locally . I personally have had A great laugh and Fun in the Tap Room .
