Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fun place to visit. So many shells. Definitely a lot of patience went into creating this grotto. The history board and photos are comprehensive and illuminating.

Smaller than expected it to be , once inside met two lovely guides very informative.
    Answered all our questions.
The Art workshop on the walls is fascinating,to think paint can last this long.
The wall markings were in some places been spoiled by our 20 th century personal additions public.
It took just under an hour to go around it all, it took longer paying for the car parking at trinity Square where you are forced to download an app to pay.
The machine doesn't accept cards or coins.
If you're lucky to find a space to park outside the caves there are 4
It's free you get one hour which is plenty time.
Small children under 5 years would not appreciate the beauty and the history.
Certainly glad we visited it was a beautiful lasting piece of history to tell your family about after your holiday.

Good, clean seaside fun on a beautiful and safe beach. Well kept and lots of traditional seaside attractions on the promenade.
Easily accessible from the railway station for a day trip.

We went to dreamland earlier this week. Lat here in 2001. Much scaled back from its hay day however it didn’t disappoint. Really enjoy some traditional rides such as the dogems and big wheel along with the ghost train! Good value when you get 20
Tokens for £40 making it £2 a ride. It was a shame that the scenic railway was out of action when we visited. All in all a good day. Beware drinks and food are expensive but do as we did and bring your own!

The museum has a selection of old models on display along with both scaletrix and train sets to "play" with, which would appeal to both young and old.

Also has a well stocked shop offering both cars and trains for sale.

If you are in Margate we would certainly advise that you go visit this free quirky museum, which explains all about crabs and how they are very important to our eco-system.

The information is presented in a very modern and humourous way, making it easy to understand.

The crab model village is a particular highlight, and so too is the toilet!

    What a little gem 💎
It needs some updating but so much potential. The upstairs was closed due to a leaking roof. Hope to revisit when it’s repaired.

Great tidal pool, allegedly the largest in the UK ? Good parking nearby and easy access. Arrived just as the tide was starting to come over the top which was an amazing experience, like an infinity pool in reverse. Easier to walk around the sides and down one of the ladders, wading in was a bit tricky due to the uneven and weedy access. Suggest you check tide times before visiting as we sat afterwards as the tide came in completely and watched the ladders and pool sides completely disappear.

Powerfully bleak vista midweek October’22. Dilapidated railings and mesmerising mix of horizontal strata from pavement to the heavens - including the ships on the horizon.

It was a bit leak when I visited but no doubt it ill be very well attended when the weather warms up. The cafe was closed but there were several jet-skiers enjoying themselves.

A rainy early evening stroll, but the park was open, and there were still people using the facilities.
The park contains a Bowls club, a children's playground, a football pitch and club, and lots of open space.

Family friendly with a play area and small library.
Lots of parking but no toilets which explains the 4 star rating.
Cricket pitch in the summer and football fields in the winter.

From the point we walked into the building, we were dragged into the story line of our escape room. Tom was really into his character which made us excited about the room. It was all very cleverly put together, the room decorations were really cool. We managed to escape egyptian tombe. It’s our 3rd time going the escapement and we always have a great time! If you want a fun day out, I recommend coming here!

I’ve played a lot of mini golf courses and this is probably the best. Nice traditional holes and very well maintained. Quite challenging too.
