Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is one of the best coastlines and beaches I have ever been too. They are dog friendly. Clean and just really a welcoming feel from the locals. The rock pools are also fun. I would highly recommend going to this coastline

Went on the Serenity boat trip to Holy Island.
Had a lovely day out, and the crew were professional and very informative.

Although at first glance the island looks a bit grotty, this is because it's a fishing island, but the village is beautiful.

The food in the Crown & Anchor was really tasty both the salmon sandwich and the crispy bacon with brie and onion jam really hit the spot ready for the boat ride back to Seahouses.

We had an absolutely delicious Sunday lunch with our dog. The portions are incredibly generous and priced very reasonably. Having enjoyed it so much we popped in for coffee and couldn't resist the scones that were also delicious. Will definitely be back 😊

Had researched places to go in Seahouses before we went and this kept coming up as a hidden gem. We were not disappointed. Both decided to have crab in a bun. What a treat - beautiful crabmeat. Sat eating them overlooking the harbour just perfect. Fish in the shop looked amazing. Would highly recommend.

We have just returned from a week at Seafield Caravan Park and have to say the Ocean Club is excellent.
We had breakfast every morning in the restaurant and also dinner severel evenings. The menu choice was excellent and good value for money. We regularly used the gym and pool which were spotless with great facilities. All the staff made us feel welcome and were very friendly.

We visited here nearly every day whilst staying nearby. We was made to feel very welcome by the staff & locals alike especially Ryan, Shannon & Bass. The drinks are very very reasonable & there was always a good atmosphere & things going on. However one evening the lager went & rather than changing the barrel they topped it up with a different lager also same member of staff stopped serving half way through to serve a local, this member of staff is not one of the above & to be honest this behaviour isn’t really the best. Wishing you a busy winter season.

Amazing staff, starting from the check-in desk at the harbour, to the skipper and the assistant.
Everything was amazing, the views, the pictures.
    A truly fantastic experience.
    I highly recommend it.
    Thank you again.

Excellent trip even on a day when you could hardly see 2 feet in front of your nose - the puffins were wonderful but so many birds to see and the seals. Commentary was good and boat was comfy - the school party were very well behaved as were the many dogs onboard

A definite must do if in the area

A must do when visiting the village this crazy golf is a bit of old fashioned fun with no technology, just a tiny bit of physical effort and a smidgen of concentration and you are away. Can get busy but if you can’t just go with the flow when on holiday when can you. Take you time, enjoy sea views and try and win a fun game where nobody really looses.

Since my last visit 18+ years ago this is the one place I wanted to take my children. We had a ball in here. Spend way too much and but have loads of souvenirs to have at home. Great stuff to buy great staff and I cannot wait to come back again.
