Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is one of the best coastlines and beaches I have ever been too. They are dog friendly. Clean and just really a welcoming feel from the locals. The rock pools are also fun. I would highly recommend going to this coastline

Went on the Serenity boat trip to Holy Island.
Had a lovely day out, and the crew were professional and very informative.

Although at first glance the island looks a bit grotty, this is because it's a fishing island, but the village is beautiful.

The food in the Crown & Anchor was really tasty both the salmon sandwich and the crispy bacon with brie and onion jam really hit the spot ready for the boat ride back to Seahouses.

We had an absolutely delicious Sunday lunch with our dog. The portions are incredibly generous and priced very reasonably. Having enjoyed it so much we popped in for coffee and couldn't resist the scones that were also delicious. Will definitely be back 😊

Well worth a visit, always visit when up this way on holiday. Never disappoints. Had a yummy dressed crab, lindisfarne oysters and kippers all delicious. Good choice in shop. Not dog friendly which is fine, a little nook outside would be good, crab net was useful to try dog lead too

We visited here nearly every day whilst staying nearby. We was made to feel very welcome by the staff & locals alike especially Ryan, Shannon & Bass. The drinks are very very reasonable & there was always a good atmosphere & things going on. However one evening the lager went & rather than changing the barrel they topped it up with a different lager also same member of staff stopped serving half way through to serve a local, this member of staff is not one of the above & to be honest this behaviour isn’t really the best. Wishing you a busy winter season.

Well organized. Skipper knew his birds well, and gave plenty of opportunity to photograph them. Visit to Inner Farne also excellent.

Loved the layout of the boat with lots of upstairs seating for a good view as well as outside at the front and back of the boat. You can also go inside for the warmer and more dry area. Landing on Inner Farne was amazing - (in late June) it was crammed with puffins, guillemots, razorbills, terns - all just a few feet from the path - and there were a few eider ducks nesting too. Wear a hat to avoid your head being pecked.

The tour was fun and we saw lots of puffins and seals.
We got off the boat to visit the lighthouse and were told to return to the boat in 30 minutes. We climbed to the top of the lighthouse and the top door was locked. Someone said that the man who had taken the money off us on entrance was coming up with the key. So we waited patiently in an overcrowded area. After a period of time we realized this was not the case so all went back down again. Not really a criticism but just so you know if it happens to you.
