- Thomas N1 contributionI went to the pheasant during a matchday for some of the games that are televised. The pheasant is one of the only two pubs that have the rights to stream Sky sports in stone. Would recommend if you would like to watch the games under a roof with a big family. The Pheasants new owners have brought a splash of life whilst retaining tradition of old pubs. They have fair prices, free darts and free pool on a Wednesday and Friday. - JTStoke-on-Trent, UK195 contributionsDecided to have a wander through stone and I came across this lovely little place. It was great to see such a place offering Coffee and cakes. Inside was very well layed out, and staff were really friendly.
With it being early lunch time we only ordered coffee’s and hot chocolates, however I did look at the choice of real ales and spirits, a good selection to choose from and they also had a fridge rammed with different beers too!
Have to say the coffee and Hot Chocolate were lovely and perfect temperature also. It was also lovely to see a company using local pottery in the form of mugs and cups.
The place is super dog friendly which is great to see also. Reasonable decor and friendly staff. We only had breakfast and coffee, but the breakfast was Wetherspoons usual fare. Could have been hotter, but not bad for the price.
