Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Two entries on Trip Advisor - one says Sutton - the other says Cheam - it's in Cheam. A fascinating museum - well worth a visit. It has been refurbished with Lottery funding and beautifully tells the story of this historic house and the families who made the house their home over the centuries. I hear that the coffee in the museum cafe is good too (sadly closed on the day of my visit in October 2023)

Cheam Park is a welcoming suburban park with plenty of green space, attractive flower beds and mature trees including a group of cedars. It adjoins Cheam Recreation Ground which has more green space and a cafe, children's playground, exercise equipment for children and another set for taller people, tennis courts, and a bowls and croquet club. The Park and Rec border Nonsuch Park. There are well-placed bench seats in both areas.

Cheam Park has a car park which is locked at night. The area is on high ground and there are views of the Wembley Arch, the Shard and other tall London buildings. The park attracts many people of all ages, including dogwalkers, but there is plenty of wildlife as well.

We, a group of 6 over 25s really enjoyed it, it was challenging in a great way and it was our first ever escape room. Our host Thomas was amazing, he was super helpful with the tips without giving anything away and was so much fun talking with him after the room about what we had missed and so many details that we had overlooked!

Absolutely will be back I cannot recommend this enough!! The room, the decor, and the puzzles are all so well thought out! An absolute hidden gem in Wallington!

Nice clean place for children to play. The only down side is the coffee shop is separate to where the children play though there's a glass window it's hard to keep a eye on yr child. It's quiet small. And if like me you have a 2 year old and a 4 month old it's hard to carry everything inside as pushchairs are not allowed it. I guess for the limited space. But I go there with my 2 year old son while my 4 month old son is being looked after. I does get very busy at times.

Stopped for quick lunch. I'm not a vegan but I enjoyed the sausage sandwich. Lovely place to chill, very nice set up. Like it very much.

We visited for lunch mid week, the bar was busy but plenty of seating was available.

This is a large pub with a tiny car park. There was no on street parking close by so getting parked if it is busy could be an issue. It is fairly well maintained, but looking a little tired. Especially outside where a lick of paint and a look at the fence around the car park would not go a miss. The establishment interior and its facilities were clean and well presented.

The bar is large and carries a very good selection of beers, including real ales, spirits and soft drinks.

The staff were polite, friendly and attentive, the wait for our food to be served was not excessive. I have no issues with the staff at all.

The food was good but not special, there is the usual fare of pub grub. It was nicely cooked, a little cold on arrival and lacking a bit in care of presentation.

Overall not a bad visit, its outside appearance and car parking could be a little off putting, but get past that and you have a really nice pub. Sort out the food a little and it will be even better.

Points off for appearance, car parking and food presentation. I would probably go back if I was in the area.

Cracking carvery great value, if you are looking for a restaurant experience not for you that's the only reason I can see for any bad reviews. Staff were all fabulous anytime we went to the bar never had to wait to be served. Proper pub, proper grub and great value. We travelled from Camden and we will return. Thank you. 😁
