What travellers are saying
- lovetotravel2012_13Houston, TX143 contributionsThis is a must go to!! I was here ten plus years ago and promised myself I would bring my husband one day. He said it was just as beautiful as i had told him. I recall there being more art when I was there last time and we missed the tulips blooming but other than that it was as stunning as I remembered.Written 14 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Barney FOkmulgee, OK78 contributionsA Fun & Exciting day for all 13 of our grandchildren and Nana and Papaw. Ages from 16 all the way down to 1 loved every aspect of the zoo. We hadn't been in a few years and the new exhibits are fantastic. If you have children or grandchildren they will love watching the baby tiger and baby white rhino. Personal note, it was a great day and we had wonderful eats in the park. You can never go wrong with pizza with kiddos, yet they offered sandwiches, panini's, and chicken tenders. What a surprise ! Thank you Tulsa Zoo for a fun, fun day!!Written 2 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ronsusOttawa, KS224 contributionsThe azaleas were in full bloom and breath-takingly beautiful. We didn't have as much time as we would have liked. but this place is definitely worth a stop, It was wonderful- all the color in a sea of green. Very relaxing.Written 23 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- maaparMount Pleasant, SC771 contributionsLoved our visit to this center. We are music and history buffs and really enjoyed the story of Woody’s life and music. The staff are very enthusiastic about the museum and what you can learn. We had a conversation about how without Woody there would have been no Bob Dylan or Bob Marley. He was the role model. You are required to wear a mask here and they are careful to not let it get too crowded.
Loved listening to the different songs. Highly recommendWritten 9 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - F4981JCmichaelsVancouver, WA1,891 contributionsThere are actually two "center of the universe" locations in the U.S. that we know of. One is a manhole cover in Wallace, Idaho that has "Center of the Universe" around the edge. The other is this place. You stand on the middle of a brick spiral and sound there is amplified, probably by the nearby tall sculpture. It's by a S. Boston Avenue cul-de-sac off of E. 1st Street, next to the Union Depot and the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame. We were there on a Sunday, and downtown Tulsa was "dead," hardly any traffic at all.
Nearby, if you are into art deco, visit the Philcade Building, also on S, Boston Avenue. A building blocks a straight shot down Boston Avenue. Supposedly there is an art deco museum here, but if so, it was not readily apparent when we were there, but maybe it's now unofficial, since there are some art deco displays on the bottom floor, and the ceiling is an incredible example of the art style. There was a small coffee shop open there too. North one block, the Philtower Building had a gothic ceiling. We were fortunate that the guard let us in for some photos. And the Mid-Continent Tower had an art nouveau ceiling, but that was locked on Sunday. Could see it through the door. The whole downtown area's architecture is beautiful. (The history is not, but that's another story.)
So if you want an easy exploration of some great architecture and want to see one of the center of the universe locations, stop in Tulsa on a Sunday.Written 28 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Phyllis BToronto, Canada223 contributionsThe football club does a lot to entertain spectators. In addition to great soccer, the fireworks, etc. are terrific to watch. But it's not a great fit to have a baseball diamond on a soccer pitch.
Easy to navigate and great sight lines.Written 10 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Heather BKansas City, MO103 contributionsAll riverfront parks should be modeled after this one! Very impressed with the design of this park and wish my city had something like this. It has a separate bike lane for cycling, rollerblading, etc. from the walking and jogging lanes which is really nice. There are plenty of stops along the way (it leads right to the Gathering Place) and there are picnic tables, basketball courts, a skate park, etc. Definitely worth an afternoon visit-we loved it.Written 13 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- TammieTravelTulsa, OK127 contributionsThe Tulsa Botanic Garden has beautiful serene Christmas light beauty. It begins with a gorgeous drive in the country leading to the entrance. Walking around through the lights with music playing is the perfect family activity. We also sat by the fire and enjoyed smores and hot chocolate. If you missed this Christmas Light experience this year, you must put it on next year's list. We will be back.Written 3 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mckenzie2 contributionsThe hotel was nice, and the staff was friendly. The room was comfortable and had a great view. However, there was a couch in the room that had obviously been used for sexual activity. There were handprints and oils from body parts all over the couch. This obviously made the couch unusable, and made us question how well they cleaned the rest of the room. The stains were very obvious upon entry.Written 13 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
