On the return journey home form a coach tour of Wales the driver took us here....I was very skeptical...what for ???? This os such a great market...so ,uch to see and enjoy...SO MANY food stalls, wow , brilliant, we ate black pudding and piccalilli after being recommended this stall by a couple fo Queens we met at the chocolate stall...we owe them a massive THANK YOU....
The first stall we came to was a WONDERFUL vegetable stall, which sold lemon grass, ginger from Peru, soursops, and many more wonderful ingredients which I bought up as I needed ingredients for the return journey....wonderful...
Then a ery nice pie and peas and beef and onion muffin in a cafe....we did have to wait an awful long time but then everything was superb....and so tasty and warm and wonderful in the cold weather.
Many stalls to see, many lovely stall holders....am very kind and very polite....would recommend 100 per cent x

An excellent military museum. Exhibits were well presented and staff were friendly and helpful. If I have one minor criticism, the lighting seems rather dim making some of the printed information difficult to read. On the other hand, it could be that my eyesight is poor!

Another brilliant play and wonderful performances from all the girls. Be my baby was a very emotional and heartfelt story that also had some good old fashioned humour thrown in for good measure. Lovely little theatre and friendly staff.

Great panto, great staff but the bar was seriously understaffed as usual.
The legroom in the seats is awful, very uncomfortable and no fun for anyone over 5ft 6.

We had a walk up to the Peel Tower on New Year's day. It was open so we decided to have a climb to the top. It was £4 for 2 adults and 1 child. As you can imagine there was a lot of steps, but they weren't steep. Really good views from the top. It was very busy so it was a bit of a squeeze passing on the stairs and then at the top.

Absolutely stunning, lovely place within park to get a drink and food within park . I saw a heron which made my day. So many walk ways and easy parking . So nice to walk within a litter free area .

First time visit with our four year old grandson, coupled with a ride on the ELR and meet the Gruffalo experience.
We all had a great time and he loved being able to go on the buses, especially upstairs.
All the volunteers were friendly and helpful.
There were a good selection of vehicles of all types with something for everyone.
My only criticism is that there was nowhere to get a drink or snack (even a vending machine would have been welcome). However just across the road is Bolton Street Station part of the ELR where refreshments can be obtained.

Kiss me like you mean it - fantastic production, acting, and script, delivered with pace and every emotion going! A play in two parts - best I have seen in 15 years of attending Summerseat Players. I can’t recommend enough. Don’t miss it!

Fab place. Great if you all want something different, great atmosphere.
I had a burger and tata tots both were really good and came quickly. My husband had the roast beef which he recommended.
The only down side was my daughter wanted a brownie and it took absolutely ages much longer than it did to get the roast etc and the lady didn't seem to care.

Housed in a magnificent building which opened in 1901; this is a free Council run museum. The highlight is the Wrigley Collection; an assemblage of more than two hundred oil paintings, watercolours, prints and ceramics, which includes works by J. M. W. Turner, John Constable, Edwin Landseer, and George Clausen. There is a feature on modern sculpture; not for everyone but if you are interested then you will probably like this.

Went specifically for the Model Tramways day. Am a regular visitor and an enthusiast about Manchester trams, so am probably (definitely) biased. However, my wife also enjoyed the visit. However, please, PLEASE!, get 173 into operation. A special day with 765 & Stockport 5 all running would be fantastic.
