Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a very enjoyable few hours with our family visiting the museum last Saturday the 28th of October.
The staff were lovely making our visit even more enjoyable.
Our grandchildren were fascinated with the varied exhibits which engaged them throughout the time spent at the museum.
Thank you so much for all that has been done to create this museum. We would highly recommend this museum as a place to visit with so much historical information and artefacts at hand.
Even on a blustery and rainy day the weather did not stop us enjoying the visit.

This was near to where we had a holiday cottage & drove past there numerous times.
Decided to take a walk there on an overcast day. Interesting walk but perhaps not worth going out of your way for.

Rainy day, but we enjoyed it. A lovely, easy walk around and quite romantic. Take a cloth strip or wool on your way out to tie in the wishing tree. Anything King Arthur is always on our list. Very dog friendly and lovely cup of coffee. Dairy alternative and homemade cakes, gluten free and vegan option. Good local knowledge and very friendly.
    Take you about an hour.

Opposite the entrance to Crowdy reservoir ,Davidstow to Roughtor road, situated in a field adjacent to this single carriagway are three or could be seen as a triple barrow.
Neolithic period to the Late Bronze Age, with most examples belonging to the period 2400-1500 BC. They were constructed as earthen or rubble mounds, sometimes ditched, which covered single or multiple burials.
Although interesting there is little to see other than the mounds but if you visit the reservoir on the way to Roughtor & Brown willy,it fills a portion of a splendid day.

Went out to watch the Perseid Meteor Shower, only saw one and it was going the wrong bloody way.

    One star only.

The best taxi driver ever! Didn’t catch his name unfortunately. But so courteous and kind. A genuinely lovely guy. Just for his reference we are the couple from Newquay being taken to the wyldes.

Amazing morning coasteering at Tintagel - the most incredible experience and at all time we felt safe and looked after. Thank you Pete for a great day and hope we can do it again soon.
Can’t recommend him enough - patient, never pushing you to do more than you feel comfortable with, ever vigilant and still managed to take some great photos!
Just book it you won’t regret it!
