Plenty of parking at the national trust car park in April and free to park if you have a national trust membership.

Little walk down some stairs and across the small bridge which takes you towards the beach area. We avoided the dunes as we had a dog with us and heard there might be snakes around at the time of year we visted.

Beach was huge when the tide was out and the sand was lovely and golden. Great on a sunny day.

    Beautiful beach with beautiful walks.
Our 2 dogs loved the beach, there were plenty of places to sit and enjoy the weather.

Excellent family day out with grand children. Wife has mobility issues so we got use of electric scooter for free. We had a brief walk round before observing the feeding of the otters & penguins followed by Rapture bird display. Timings meant you had time to get to each venue before item started. Visited farm animals and feed small birds with nectar before lunch. We took a picnic and ate inside and bought some drinks followed by visit to play barn for youngest one to tire herself out whilst others had hot chocolate. Visited the rest of the caged birds before Free Flight display of mostly parrots various. Finished the day with visit to gift shop.

Parked in Godrevy National Trust Car park and walked along the path to Mutton Cove an easy route to walk - my 85 year old mum was able to compete the walk with a couple of stops going up the incline. We were rewarded with seeing around 60+ seals on the beach on Boxing Day just amazing.

Fabulous view within easy walk of Lelant - park in Lelant or arrive by train! Beach is dog friendly, not crowded - plenty of space for ball games like cricket and rounders. Beach very clean, probably due to no shops, food outlets etc. Estuary adds an additional dimension of interest as do range of well maintained footpaths through the dunes

Love it, loads of bays to use in the driving range and friendly staff. Having the best golf lessons with Jamie at the moment and looking forward to getting out on the course

We popped in here to visit the cafe which is part of Nourish. Chai latte was excellent, really pleasant place to spend some time. We then browsed the eclectic range of artisan independent shops which were also very interesting with many fantastic items for sale.

Very worth while a visit if you are in the area.

A wonderful exhibition, up there with the very best. We had planned on an hour or so, Herstory was so good that we took a lunch break and came back for more. Based on in depth research - much undertaken by the marvellous volunteers) - the working lives of these women emerged from the past: Hayle's National Explosive Works, J & F Pool war time munitions factory, the Cornish mining industry, the Cryséde silkworks, Harvey's of Hayle, as well as the creative arts, a champion swimmer, and Elizabeth Carne "geologist, conchologist, philanthropist and banker". The standard of display was exemplary, much care taken with layout and interpretation and use of font sizes (far superior to some larger cultural bodies in London!). The curator Daisy, and the volunteer at the front desk, shared how the exhibition had been put together and researched, which I was particularly interested in. A few months later we came back for Janet Axten's talk "Researching Crysede and Cresta", which threw light on until more recently only tantalising glimpses (to me anyway) of this silk company's past (I hadn't known about Cresta Silks workshops in Foundry Square).

Parked in local reserve and walked to Estuary. A fantastic view. Look forward to returning when there are more birds but what we saw was still good. Please mind the road when crossing on the bridge. Kingfishers were amazing.

Visited today for a tour of the brewery. Ross showed us round and we couldn’t believe that two hours had gone by the time the tour had finished. Really informative and presented with humour and knowledge by Ross. I say finished…Ross then presented us with five third of a pint tasters of the current beers. Fantastic! Really worth a visit!!
