Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent, fun, friendly and very reassuring surf instructor as my son was a little nervous but with great instruction was able to stand on his first go.

Really down to earth people. Had a 2hr session with my 10yr old as total beginners, in a small very mixed group of 6. The instructor said all the staff are RNLI trained, and lifeguards. Very short but to the point briefing about the nuances of Perranporth, general safety and hand signal communication. They somehow managed to juggle us all, giving tips on what to do better. No condescension or ego tripping whatsoever. I managed to actually get up a few times. 10yr old couldn't pop.
So....week later paid for 1 on 1. Pedro was the instructor.
Was concerned it would be a potential quick buck to do little more than a group input; but they seemed genuine enough to give it a go.
Was proved it was more than worth it. Pedro didn't want to waste no time at all so checked knowledge, went through safety walking to the water (wide beach!).
The guy had endless patience in trying to get our child to pop and surf.
A few close times. Alas fast twitch muscles and balance were lacking.

Still Pedro tried everything nonstop the whole lesson. All the while encouraging them almost like a lifecoach. Despite all the fails their confidence remained high, and above all else had a lot of fun. Never ever met such a natural teacher for young people.
At the end he praised their tenacity and was respectful and said how not giving up means you'll always do better than the person who never tried. Legend.
All in all cannot fault them.

I have ridden many times with Reen Manor Stables since discovering them 6 years ago on a trip to Cornwall. The lanes and pub ride are fabulous with stunning views but the really gem is the 2 hour beach ride. Walking and trotting over the sand dunes with a canter and gallop along Perranporth beach is an absolute dream come true! The escorts are so friendly and encouraging having the hard task of balancing your riding desires with the importance of maintaining your safety and they really do shine at what they do. The horses are so well cared for and well mannered and the views are stunning. Communication before the ride is quick and easy. Thank you Reen Manor for yet another wonderful beach ride! See you soon

We’ve been here twice a beautiful place, but avoid the car park on Station road ,on the grass .You need to remember your arrival time when leaving car park otherwise you’ll get a £100 fine, if underestimated.

My partner and I, and our teens opted to try paddle-boarding on a recent holiday to Perranporth, Cornwall, and so we booked a lesson with Dan at Little Wolf Adventures who is based at the Hotel Meudon, Falmouth.

Upon arriving, Dan and his assistant, Ben, were both really friendly and easy to get along with. Wet suits were available, if wanted. Dan took the time to explain how the lesson was going to work, and talked about the paddleboards, explaining various features and things of importance. We then walked down to the beach and got straight onto the water. As predicted by Dan, our teens got it easily and were up on their feet in no time and me and my partner were a slightly different story.

They got us all moving straight away in a linked follow my leader style, with us all laying down on the boards to get us used to being on the water. Techniques for manoeuvring and getting out of trouble were then demonstrated before leading us out onto the ocean.

Dan and Ben were excellent with all of us, taking particular consideration of my partner, who has a phobia of water and getting submerged (a life jacket was provided for her). Her nervousness was taken into consideration at all times during the lesson and at no time did she feel pressurised into doing anything she didn't feel comfortable doing.

We went to a couple of inaccessible beaches along the coast, generally having fun, and yes, getting wet and taking photos. An impromptu headstand on the board competition between Dan and Ben had one of our teens giving it a go before we all headed back to shore.

The highlight of all of this was Dan getting my partner to stand on the board, despite her fear of falling in. We were all really proud of her, and we all came off the water absolutely buzzing from our experience. We cannot thank Dan and Ben enough for a really amazing morning and we can't wait to return for more on our next holiday.

Whilst being some 40 minutes from Perranporth, the calm sea, stunning location, excellent teaching and really friendly welcome made it well worth the travel so if you fancy trying paddle boarding, you really won't go wrong with Little Wolf Adventures.

I contacted Peg and Annie about having a family surf lesson together with outer son who has ASD & ADHD. Annie was just brilliant at planning the best times of day to avoid sensory overload, and met us super early on the beach to help.
We had the best lesson and my son was standing up on the board really quickly. He laughed and smiled the whole way through. We had a second lesson the following week.
I would throughly recommend Peg’s surf school to anyone looking to learn to surf. It was such a personalised experience and we just loved every minute of it.
Even more so if you have any disabilities as they through understand adaptive sports,
