Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A wonderful day, very attractive, interesting and enjoyable, the Gardens live up to the expectation. More surprising was the high quality and value of the restaurant, a Lamb Curry, I would go back for regularly if I was local.

The tour was amazing! Paul, I think ( I got tipsy) was really knowledgeable on the history and the brand! Although the tasting of ‘samples’ was amazing! Would definitely recommend going, and not be the driver

This has been on our Cornwall hitlist having not had the time last year. Visited on a lovely warm Saturday this year during our 7 day Cornwall break and spent 1-2 hours at Footgolf with my son (13) and daughter (9) whilst my wife looked on walking around as spectator. We picked the red 1 hole course as flatter and we all loved it. Friendly staff and great site, and the last hold taking a shot at a goal is also fab. Highly recommended and we would return when we next visit Cornwall.

Visited Wheal Martyn on Sunday afternoon with dog staff very pleasant. This place is very dog friendly. Very I formative and interesting throughout so much to look at. Went for two walks to the view point and nature walk, both really good. Learnt a lot on this trip at a reasonable price. Really nice cafe as well. Excellent museum recommend a visit

What a wonderful and interesting museum demonstrating leadership and courage by the men that went on the trip--- to the total unknown--- and not so long ago.

Really nice small harbour with a few restaurants and some small shops/traders. Good car park nearby with some pretty small shops and gallery. Small beach where it looked like you can walk around to the next cove, good small museum with shipwreck artifacts. Ate at a small restaurant with outside seating which was dog friendly, nice place to while away a few hours.

This is a beautiful exceedingly tranquil spot just outside St Austell. Considering the location the peace and quiet was a very pleasant surprise - the only sounds were the birdsong and trickling water. It is easy to walk around although the cobbles in some areas could be awkward for some.
For us it was good value as we got 2 for 1 entry with Gardeners World 2 for 1 card - however we did say it would have been overpriced at full price.
Well worth a visit if you can get a discount.

I have visited the Rock several times and it is certainly a draw card for the area. It has different features depending on the time of year. The Chapel on the Rock was built in 1409 but has been a ruin for several hundred years.

We had the roast and it was lovely.
Live locally so will definitely visit again. Previously ordered a roast during the pandemic too.

This beach is VERY busy in the summer. But if you go early it’s lovely. Holds the sun all day & into the early evening. Perfect for swimming as there is barely any seaweed!
Car park on the beach as well which is useful.
In the summer there are pop up bars on the beach.

Visited in winter, on a beautiful but cold day. It's a very windy (sometimes single track) drive down, I can only imagine it might be a challenge to drive in the summer with traffic! Parking was just £1 for an hour, and the car park was a very good size. The beach has plenty of places to sit (including some benches up the top and picnic tables off the beach), and lots of great rocks to clamber on. At that time of year it was very doggy friendly, there were many furry friends having the time of their lives. Best of all there were public toilets and a cafe (not open in winter, I think it said opening from March).

Took the dogs here for change today and we had a great time.
Plenty of varied scenery and pathways, stunning ancient woodland with amazing huge oaks and beech. The climb up to the top is well worth it. The old stone wall is fascinating as the construction is of a type I've not seen before in terms of the very large stones on the top that overlap the wall beneath.

We went early in the morning and didn't encounter anyone else (or any other dogs) until almost the end of the walk.

The bluebells were just starting to open with wood anemone scattered between, and the tree foliage was stunning.

Some reviews have said there was little flora and fauna, not signposts and little car parking - all I can say is they must have had their eyes shut.
