Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visiting the LePrince Gallery was a wonderful experience. Not only was the art out-standing, but Kelly was also remarkably professional, warm, and informative. All of this was made even better because I bought a beautiful and a somewhat provocative painting. Overall, a terrific experience!

Meyer Vogl Gallery is the best fine art gallery I’ve ever visited. The energy is wonderful and you instantly feel at ease when you walk through the doors. The art is as wonderful as the staff. They are kind and so helpful, whether it’s finding the perfect painting or sharing their favorite recs for lunch in town. 10/10 recommend a visit during your next trip to Charleston.

    A beautiful clean cool gallery

    An artists coop gallery

As my usual, I was pulled into the jewelry. Many diverse rings, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. I bought a gorgeous crazy lace agate ring.
I enjoyed browsing the sweet grass baskets, ceramics/pottery, scarves, accessories, wooden objects, and more.
The staff person was friendly and helpful.
Walking just a few minutes from the DASH bus made it convenient.

Fantastic gallery with both national and international representation, beautifully curated, professional, knowledgable and very friendly staff. Mary Martin is an excellent gallerist and a great pleasure to meet. A must stop in Charleston for any art enthusiast or collector.

Park at a meter on Calhoun and check out the Halsey, which is free to the public and has rotating exhibitions throughout the year If possible check out their opening nights (6:30-8:00) which are $5 for non-members with an open bar. Artists often provide a talk the next day. The student galleries are also fun to stroll through...you never know where talent will rise to the surface!

The Chalmers Street cobblestone area is a throwback to the 1800s when horse and carriages traveled on these rocky roads. Chalmers Street is in the French quarter and historic homes line the street.

We went to this gallery on a local art walk. The owner was there as well as the featured artist. There is some beautiful art work in this gallery. The sculptures are amazing. This is well worth the visit.

This gallery is full of beautiful art work by several members of the same family. There are some different styles and all are amaziing. During the monthly art walks, many of the artists are in the gallery. This is a great place to visit.

Across from the market. We never fail to make a purchase here. There are always new (and truly different) pieces to admire.

While walking through Charleston City Market we spotted a stand selling reprints that were slightly larger than postcard size. My wife likes to make collages so we decided to pick some up. Very reasonably priced. Nice selection of products.
