A lovely day spent at Elizabeth Castle. We spent 4-5 hours exploring & taking in the incredible views. The history telling of muskets & canons through the fabulous (& funny) story telling skills of the Gunner Sergeant made the trip an extra memorable one!

We visited on a rainy day for something to do. Really interesting and educational. Good hands on activities. Staff friendly and helpful. The tapestry gallery was also interesting and we learnt a lot.

An excellent few hours spent learning more about Jersey and the history and heritage of the island and islanders. So interesting to wander around the Victorian house and I still can't get over the real gas lighting! Would definitely recommend a visit.

Brilliantly renovated house, the Georgians sound like they were very comfortable.
The house has history from day one, a very interesing trail of decline and recovery. Volunteers are there who are very knowledgeable about the building.

Absolutely fantastic. Loved the enthusiasm! Gin is exceptional- had to take a bottle home! Loved the rum too even though I don’t usually drink it.

The park was walking distance from my hotel. It was spacious and clean. It also had entertainment on the day I was there in aid of RAFA . Brilliant park, fabulous day.

St Helier beach and the surrounding area is lovely. There is only one problem, the smell of sewage wafting over the area. I was at the air display last week, which was amazing. It was all spoiled by the appalling overpowering stench.

Nice lil square celebrating end of Nazi occupation. Across the street is tapestries commemorating occupation.

Spoke with Gaynor on the front desk about tour buses, unfortunately in December there aren't any, so Gaynor informed us of how to get around the island and what attractions were open or worth a visit. Very helpful and excellent customer service.

Fantastic church in the old town area.
Really quite welcoming with candies and coffee near entrance. Open to relax but I always like tombstones outside and plaques that are quite old honoring those that have gone before us..cholera, war, age, etc.
    It’s a short life…live well

It's a column with a toad on top, with a seagull regularly sitting on the top. Located in a pedestrian area of St Helier
