Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I thought I was lucky to find this open on Easter Sunday, but I now know their season has just started and this superb museum will be open until the end of October on Sunday afternoons; Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10.30 till 4pm. No entrance fee, but a donation box is on the desk.
Really friendly volunteers who are perceptive enough to know when to chat or when to leave alone.
I found the film of Chelsea Flower Show delightful - really 'of it's time'. Try watching the first 10 minutes and the last 10 minutes if you can't manage the full 50 minutes.
Lots of interesting exhibits and explanations about Beaminster and the local villages.
Stairlifts available to other floors and a public loo.
    Excellent

Still used by the Sandwich family with a secret door from the main house to the church. A small 12th century church with lots of history worth a visit.

This is the high point on a walk between Stoke Abbott and Beaminster. The whole walk is a delight on a fine day and the uninterrupted views from the top of Gerrard's Hill make the climb well worth while.

There is a small copse of trees to provide some welcome shade on a hot day.

While the walk requires a fair bit of effort my 3 year old granddaughter managed it so most people should be able to get there.

Charlie's knowledge of looking after yourself during perimenopause, menopause and post menopause is extensive and extremely helpful. I recently completed a 6 week course and there was always something to learn from. She is easy to listen to, friendly, understanding and, if there are questions she can't answer, she takes time out to give you a full and thorough rundown after locating the information. I totally recommend this course to any woman looking to expand their knowledge about the menopause.

We had a fabulous time with Simon and his donkeys, Hector, Paris, Paddy and Flynn.
We had the opportunity to groom the donkeys and then went on a walk with Hector and Paris.
Simon loves his donkeys and they love him too.
We learnt lots of interesting facts about Donkeys.
Simon was so patient with us as we were a little apprehensive about walking the donkeys, however by the end we were loving the experience.
We would highly recommend Simon and his donkeys as we had a lovely time.

Nice little gift shop in the centre of town. Parking in the Square. The very best selection of greetings cards and stationery!

Very friendly, helpful and cheap. You need to join as a member of course, but the advantage of this is you are then one of the club. You will find people helpful, and the drinks cheap! Well worth joining if you are in Beaminster more than once a year.

Cilla & Camilla were recommended to us whilst we were in the area. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. We highly recommend the afternoon tea & scones, not to mention the famous Dorset apple cake and clotted cream!! The cheese scones were very tasty and the Big 5 smoothie was so refreshing after a busy day. You must visit this cafe. The food is really good. The parking outside is also very reasonable.

There’s something very special about this place
Please go. We must keep it.

Not only are they small talented publishers
and have the most idyllic little shop.

Inside is full of inspirational books from the natural world Geology and Geography to Children’s books. Something for everyone.

The work they put it shows-
Take a look at their window display. Just the most magical festive window display-I had to go in
and yes i couldn’t resist leaving without an armful of books that I know my family will enjoy.

Mogs Christmas for my grand daughter and Little Robin Red Vest complete with an audio book.
    Yes and Cook books too!

Plenty of places for Coffee in Beaminster too!
