Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Keefletrucker106 contributionsAbsolutely beautiful and packed with wildlife. We had a gorgeous sunny day, which I’m sure helps.
We had two hours to explore the island. Almost not enough. Would loved to have just chilled for a good few hours at select spots to take it all inWritten 31 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Couple of museums at the front to look over too. Yeah really enjoyed it with the fish and chips.Written 18 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- alibatty🦇Dundee, UK19,382 contributionsThis is a small , sheltered , crescent shaped beach , to the west of the town adjacent to the golf course, and on the Fife Coastal Path. It’s predominantly sandy with a scattering of shells, and rock pools exposed when the tide is out. A fragrant hedge of Rosa rugosa rings part of the peaceful bay, which has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest ( SSSI ) due to it’s diverse flora and fauna , and bird life. Plus it’s also a winner of the “Keep Scotland Beautiful 2023 Beach Award.”Written 3 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
