Wonderful house. We felt very much at home there. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Everything of a very high standard. Ask beautiful views down to the harbour

Loved this rather old fashioned, but hugely engaging museum. What alot of information. You certainly get your money's worth. Retro cafe is a nice touch. The films in the makeshift cinema are hard hitting- well, the one we watched was. Wouldn't recommend for younger children, but our son is nearly 13 and it was a wake-up call for him! It's a bit of a hidden treasure. Do visit if you're in the area.

Very friendly staff; Jonathon & Sheila were the volunteers on the day we visited. In addition to the local history, both gave lots of information on the area itself. We particularly enjoyed the detailed JSSL section. Free parking nearby was much appreciated.

Lovely day with great set up and space. Hall was well equipped to handle a wedding in 2 parts. Service set up and then back space transformed for wedding reception.

This distinctive, circular , bee-hive shaped doocat ( dovecote) is a rare survivor from the 16th century - hence it’s a category A listed building. It was used to house pigeons , which provided both meat and eggs to the nearby priories and community. The stone walls are 3ft thick , with a harling coating . It’s situated on a steep picturesque path from the village to Roome Bay, and has been fully restored very sympathetically , by The Crail Preservation Society. Perhaps we’ve just been unlucky, not finding it open upon visits, but definitely plan to try again.

A lovely welcoming church. The priest travels from St Andrews to say Mass and it is great to have Mass available without having to travel too far.

An absolutely brilliant day with Steve - we took our 9 year old for archery and falconry on a sunny January day which couldn't have been better. Steve was so welcoming and knowledgeable and we all had great fun learning firstly how to hit a target properly, but even more so about the history and skills of falconry. The birds were stunning and we all loved the whole experience. I cant recommend it enough to anyone with an interest!
Thanks Steve! Joe said that if we weren't his parents, he wishes that you would adopt him! High praise I think!

This is a very average fountain. It's very tiny but it is a memorial fountain and it look pretty decent.

What a wonderful old pottery and such talented potters! An amazing choice of products in beautiful designs and colours. I bought a second mug as I was given one in 2017 and I still haven’t managed to break it - VERY strong and excellent value.
