Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had lunch here three times during our week in Aberfeldy. There are daily specials, really lovely home made soup and good selection of sandwiches and cakes. One of the specials I had was a "KFC" cauliflower wrap which was really delicious. We had good weather and sat outside on the little terrace every time which was lovely. Great bookshop too. Highly recommend.

Nice little stop off whilst in this beautiful part of the country. Had a wee wander round the gallery too. Did not purchase anything on this occasion tho.

Nice to see all the recycled items being used and other pieces waiting outside to be repurposed.

We often go into galleries and see the odd piece we like, but in here we were spoilt for choice and we’re ooing and aahing all the way round. The lady behind the counter was friendly and welcoming and I really thought the prices of the pieces were very reasonable. Lots of pieces and ideas we had never seen before. Of course we made a purchase!

This shop is full of handmade treasures! posters made on the premises, hand printed bags and personally designed fashion with silk-lined hand printed designs in various colours of tweed. You can also buy a copy of the owners own music in vinyl (which my son and his friend did!) They tell me its fantastic! This place oozes country style with a quirky feel. Filled with antique printing presses and old suitcases that the owner uses to show off his wares. This wee place is a gem! Its impossible not to buy at least a little something. Loved it, and the owner is a friendly guy who is happy to chat about his work in woodcutting and printing, all in all well worth a visit if you are in the area.

We try to check out the Aberfeldy Gallery every time we visit Aberfeldy.

It’s an eclectic but carefully chosen mix of photographs, paintings, and crafts - almost all inspired by the beautiful regional landscape. The work is great, and, because there’s a wide range of work, sizes, and prices, it’s also kind of a go-to place for gifts.

And, not least, the people who run it are really nice.

Karelia House is one of my ‘go to’ places for fabric. The ladies are so friendly and encouraging. I don’t feel stupid asking any questions and given I drive down from Aberdeen just to visit the shop, they are so welcoming. The cafe is excellent too. Can’t recommend enough. Love this shop!
The surroundings are absolutely stunning too!

No longer called Fields - but the new owner(s) is carrying on the tradition. Sadly the Rioja marinated cheese had just sold out that morning and wouldn't be available again until the following day. :( Did buy a couple of others and most impressed with a piece of Black Bomber and a small piece of German soft goats' cheese. If the weather hadn't taken a turn (torrential rain), we would have made the trip back. Excellent sit down sandwich choices were being served to sitters!
