The 1/2 mile long scale model of the Mississippi River and its tributaries is a delight for children to splash along in and for adults to brush up on their geography & history.
The outside is 1/2 mile walk but the kids can take their shoes off and enjoy splashing in the scaled "Mississippi river" Staff was helpful and fun, what a treasure.

While on vacation we made our way down to the landing, It is a very nice area to walk, I saw children running around and playing and there are history markers along the path.
