Went here with my teenage daughter and my young son, both of them loved the audio guided tour, well worth the money, also while here go ahead and walk across the street to the church, it also offers some good views
We wanted to see some history of Galveston and this home was a great example, lots of beautiful woodwork and great view of church across the street.

Antique furniture and the self guided tour is a great way to hear the history of the house, available in english and spanish narrated from the point of view of some of the family members!
The 2 ladies at the visitor center were very friendly and helpful in directing us to interesting sights and landmarks.

I loved here.The ship was relatively small.But I learned lots.The ship was used for banana import.I learned how hard it was to bring bananas from Caribbean islands.What a great view from the deck!

We loved walking down the pier and looking at all the rides and eateries, the Big Wheel is a must to ride as views are incredible especially at dusk, Bubba Gump restaurant is worth a visit but does get busy, there...
You get to ride all the rides (which were a lot of fun and a great view) very little wait to ride, and we rode some rides several times.

Many sights in Galveston, Strand, Beach, Pier, many restaurants, cruise port parking and shuttle is easy.
Port was easy to drive to, paring was on site, shuttle buses to the terminals, we have platinum status so literally walked right in and got right on the ship.
