Paseo Maritimo in Salou is the wonderful promenade that hugs the beachfronts of this sun drenched resort ,great views of the beautiful blue flag beaches ,along this promenade are all manner of pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants plus shopping outlets, architecture is fab,my twin brother Stephen and I loved nothing better than walking along this promenade, going in for a swim from one of the beaches and then having a cold beer in a pub or bar while we dried off in the sun,its a lovely, relaxing walk and most definitely well worth trying out if you're planning a holiday to Salou.

Llarga Beach is a wonderful cove of a beach my twin brother Stephen and I swam from on our recent weeks holiday in Salou, pristine sand, gentle waves ,you can go out in the water for a long way and it's still shallow ,good beach amenities and a peaceful beach ,certainly not as crowded as some of the other beaches here in Salou.
Well worth checking out if you're planning a holiday to Salou.

Visited the wonderful Illuminated Fountain ( Font Lluminosa ) while on a recent holiday to this sun baked resort ,although the fountain was not working ,this being due to the extreme hot weather hitting Spain and Southern Europe in general during the summer months and water being limited for some of the fountains ,unfortunately not this very famous fountain but it still looked cool ,constructed in 1973 from designs from engineer Carles Buigas ,its been a big tourist attraction for decades ,its still well worth checking out if you're in the area near Passeig Jaume I .

Llenguadets Beach is one of the standout beaches in this sun drenched resort.
It's a bit of a hidden gem ,it's a cove, pristine sand, nice beach amenities, waters here are very shallow and waves gentle ,you can go a long way out and you're still only waste high ,its a beach perfect for young families, its a beach to most definitely check out if you're planning a holiday to Salou.

The park is pretty interesting if you are interested in rollercoasters and brave enough to face the crazier ones. If you don’t really like them, it’ll probably be a bit boring, since they are all over the place. I’d think twice before taking little kids there. I didn’t go to Ferrari Land because it was closed, just like lots of restaurants, which I personally didn’t like. Still had a good time there though.

The best thing about Salou. Away from the noisy English bars, English food and English people. Perfect! Golden sands, with an amazing friendly bar serving the best cocktails.

Great hotel great rooms fantastic food . Big shout out to Lara lady behind the bar great personality. Beach right on your doorstep Salou 30 min slow walk nice and flat there are some steps at the end so be prepared. Hotel is very clean rooms nice size friendly staff. I personally cannot fault this hotel or location at all. Buses run into Salou regularly buy a twenty trip card for 15 euros top it up if you need more. We had a room on 2nd floor looking out over beach proper little sun trap on balcony. 10 out of 10 for me . Enjoy ✈️

Walking along Passeig De Jaume I there are several really stunning looking buildings ,one of the most beautiful is without a shadow of a doubt Xalet Bonet.
A wonderful looking historic building, constructed in 1918 from designs from architect Domenec Sugranyes I Gras, its in my opinion the most beautiful building in Salou, not open to the public but you can see the lovely building from Passeig De Jaume I, the facade is stunning, so photogenic, its a building to most definitely check out if you're in the area near the marina.

I went with my family, it is a beautiful place, have nice views in both limits of the cala. You can walk above the rocks there is a path wich leads to another small cove but one of rocks. There is a lot of people but like between 7pm and 8pm people starts to leave.

Parque Infantil De Salou is a lovely play area for the kids and a great area for young families, a decent play area, lots of swings, climbing frames and the like to tire the little monsters out and lots of bench seating for the parents to watch out for their kids, nice restaurants and bars for refreshments, all in all a great play park to check out if you're in the area and easy to locate on Plaza Del Carrilet.
