Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Gregrob1980Philadelphia, PA604 contributionsThis is our second visit in the last two years and we found it more enjoyable this time around. Since it's winter, there are no guided tours but they have staff on hand to answer any questions you may have.Written 6 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MimiMissyHaleyville, AL68 contributionsVery educational for those who fish or don’t fish. The art exhibit was fabulous. The Lee and Joan Wolff section was great and also had a video. - Gene R JSilver Spring, MD9,113 contributionsAfter visiting the 1905 Hildene-Lincoln Family Home, we drove 2 miles NE following Google Maps to the 1902 Wilburton Inn. Parking just to the rear, we took the marble pathway to several sculptures that led to the remarkable gazebo at the back of the lawn. Here were ~ 20 large posters basically describing how conflicts develop and how to resolve them. The detail was far too complicated to understand in a short visit, rather these could be used as a syllabus for a college course elective. Well this is Dr. Albert Levis's 30 acre "Training Center" for just that.Written 28 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - sullificnew haven, ct708 contributionsI notice that Epoch has moved into larger quarters -
I have always visited Epoch when in Manchester. Not your typical artisan shop really - most of the items are pricey and museum quality. You can get some jewelry or a scarf that won't break the bank, but it's really more of a gallery.
The items are, however, lovely. Art, furniture, turned wood, stained glass, fabric work, jewelry, blown glass, etc., from some really talented (and some fairly well-known) artisans. If you are in the market for a very nice gift for yourself or someone else, this is a good spot for it.Written 5 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
