The tour lasted almost an hour and whilst you do need to mind your head and may get your feet a bit wet, it was an easy enough walk that some were able to navigate whilst carrying a small child.
Our 2 children (ages9,12) were fascinated throughout the tour that lasted just under an hour.

The interior is very interesting with elegant and modern bathrooms and everything that depicts the life story of Josephine Baker as an entertainer, secret agent and mother of the children whom were adopted by her.
Josephine Baker was an extraordinary woman and her life is very well depicted throughout this chateau that she and her family lived in.

A red hot day so tried to keep to the shade as we floated along the Dordogne amongst canoeists and past families paddling by the rivers edge or simply enjoying sun and a picnic.
There were a lot of young school kids on the trip - they appeared to be of elementary school age and were extremely well behaved, so our guide's narration must have been interesting to them.
