Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A local group from Women's Collective Ireland Ronanstown attended a fantastic guided tour with Danny and Alan. Our guides gave us a detailed history of Clondalkin and further afield. Also included, was a tour of the beautiful gardens with lots of information about the herbs, plants and trees replicated from the monastic period. Well worth a visit.

One of the most striking features is a dramatic lantern extending the full length of the apex. Inside, this light filled enclosure is additionally wonderful to admire.

Designed by the applauded architect John Meagher it was consecrated in 1982. It makes for a marvellous profile when viewed from any number of stances, including through the leafing branches.

A harmony of brick, tile and glass, the facades are a testament to modernity in architecture. Moving inside is to see an intimate space of concentric arrays of seating beneath a pitched ceiling of warm wood.

With an altar area of lovely simplicity complemented by statuary in alcoves on either side, it is a thoughtful and contemplative room.

A grand freestanding bell tower was unveiled in 2006. With a century year old bell donated by a Connemara Convent atop and a cross further beneath, it is completed with attractive art work.

This is the creation of Cecilia Moore and comprises two vibrant mosaics of coloured glass inlaid with bronzes.

A small garden of remembrance dedicated to local youth is a further appealing attribute.

This was my childhood church and school and we had the ancient graveyard as a playground. Sadly the gates and church are locked at most times ....

In the centre of the pleasant village, the complex is one focus for the community. Conveniently with a broad range of food and other retail and relaxing eateries, it is a popular local destination, with generous opening hours.

Its name comes from the former paper mill that closed in 1987. Seven years later the Centre opened on the site.

Brilliantly maintained course and for 22e, it is one of the best you will play for that money. Greens, fairways and rough are well manicured. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. Would have given it 5 stars if they had a bar

It’s a pleasant and attractive Church, not far from the village. A single storey of redbrick, a notable feature is the striking steeple.

There are a number of Congregations in Ireland and this Church serves the surrounding areas.

It is thought that the first members of the Church were in Ireland from about the 1840s. While overall numbers are relatively low in the country, establishments such as this attest to the continuing strong faith.

A small Church in Ireland, it has a number of locations. This one is based in the local Community Centre.

A dedicated congregation make a special welcome for new members. Community is especially prized and valued.

A Sunday service and Prayer Meetings on Wednesday are held.
