The Parque Natural de Corralejo is a beautiful place, lovely sand dunes, nice breaking waves. The kite surfers are a crazy bunch but great to watch. Plenty of peaceful places to sit and relax

Usually access the Grande Playas via the road between the two big RIU hotesl which has a fair amount of car parking. The waves here are usually moderate making it a pretty safe beach with glorious sand. Lifeguards situated along the beach make it a pretty decent family beach. Couple of beach bars back now and also sunbeds for hire.

As 2 adults we went here, was enjoyable but some slides hurt, water was freezing but when u get past initial shock it was so much fun, wish we'd gone at an earlier time. As we went in November park wasn't heaving so was able to try everything and not que for ages.
The food wasn't great but it was edible.
    Sun longer we're great.
I can't wait to take my children here for a visit they will love it

Visited Isla Lobos with Noviera Nortours' ferry 'Majoero'. Booked through TripAdvisor and so glad we did. Arrive 20 mins before, the ferry is at the far end of the harbour near where the large Olson cruise ship moors. Relaxed and friendly crew, glass bottom to view the marine life, space on deck or in covered seating area.
We stayed on the island for 3 hrs which was perfect for a bit of sunbathing and snorkeling in the calm waters of the lagoon.
On the return trip we managed to sit on the bow seats and we were warned that we would get wet - that was no understatement! The spray from the bow hitting the waves absolutely soaked us and it was so much fun!!!! I'm sure the Captain was hitting the waves on purpose for the effect! We were all laughing and cheering the whole way back, it was a great way to finish a lovely day. Don't miss a trip to Isla Lobos with these guys.

Fabulous beach to spend time on and watch the kite surfers, great news that the sunbeds are back and also that there is a small beach bar up and running.

Wednesday 7th February and we visited this rather special beach on the northern tip of Fuerteventura. It is located roughly eight and a half kilometres from Corralejo and the drive takes about twenty minutes. Although it did feel a lot longer.

Turning off the main road, Avineda Juan Carlos 1, it looks likes the entrance to an open space car park. This leads on to an unsurfaced track which follows the coastline, twisting and turning along the way.

The beach is called Playa del Bajo de la Burra. However it is more widely known as Popcorn Beach, because of the white rhodoliths. These are small pieces of rock that have been covered in algae and then calcified over time.

The white 'Popcorn" is a stark contrast to wild and rugged black lava formed coastline on which the waves of the Atlantic Ocean crash.

There are no facilities on this beach, it is ideally a place to visit to see this natural phenomenon, have a walk about, admire the scenery take photos and move on.

It is not permitted to remove rhodoliths from the Beach. There are notices requesting that visitors respect the environment.

Also from this Beach there are views across the Ocean to the island of Lanzarote.

Bag your table, order some drinks and just chill or boogie to the various artists and groups across the week. New Sensation Band were great, the breakdancers breathtaking and Wes Brown a top notch solo artist. Whatever your music preference I think you’ll find something to like.

Have a lovely walk round Corralejo which included a short visit round the Puerto de Corralejo. Also went back when sailing over to Lanzarote

The Puerto de Corralejo is a nice busy area with bars, shops and restaurants all in easy walking distance

Great market on Thursdays and Sundays, lots of unusual things to buy, as well as some a great number of shops, some selling items much cheaper than elsewhere. So go soak up the atmosphere, shop a little, and then sit in one of the many bars and people watch. Knocks the market in Playa Blanca in to a cocked hat.

Fabulous food and fabulous service. This is a small restaurant with a more limited menu than some - but don't let this put you off. The food was delicious! The staff are friendly and efficient. Good wine list, too.

Friday 4th December, last day of our holiday and we spent the day on this beach. We walked here from our hotel Rui Palace Tres Islas, with Corralejo at our backs, it took about 15 minutes.

It is situated within the Dunas de Corrallejo and betwern Playa Baja de Negro and Playa de los Matos.

There are no facilities or sunbeds and umbrellas here. The old natural shade is from the odd clump of wild bushes along the beach. There are also  small "corralitos", circular walls built with rocks and stones, they provide shelter from the swirling sands and the winds off the Atlantic Ocean.

The beach is predominately flat with golden sands and undulating dunes towards the back of the beach. There is also roadside parking behind the dunes, more than 60 metres walk to the sea.

Like most of the other beaches along the Dunes, this one is also popular with naturists.

From the beach we could see the 2 Rui Hotels and Los Lobos in the distance.
