That is where the most unbelievable place in GMNP is, as far as the dramatics go! Consult the wildernes hiking trails map available on Canada Parks website and at Visitor Centre in Rock Harbour.
4 km from the car park to the base, 3 hours to get to the summit and some stunning views throughout the hike.

Gros Morne park and the surrounding communities (Woody Point, Trout River, Lamond, Rocky Harbour, Norris Point etc etc) is one of my favourite places to visit in the world, stunningly beautiful places and people.
After hiking in the national park, we were impressed with this informative and well maintained trail.

The village of Trout River is located about 50 KM from the entrance to Gros Morne National Park and is accessible via a fairly well paved road.
Trout River is a lovely little fishing village at the southern end of Gros Morne National Park.
