- Brenda S20 contributionsWonderful roadside farm stand - gift shop.
Loved the cute decor, veges, gifts & homemade pies. We purchased a bumble berry pie that was warm from the oven & delicious. Highly recommend.Written 18 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The ambience and updated sound system enhance the already phenomenal and varying events that take place here. Visiting The Lincoln Theatre is a must while in the area and will not disappoint.Written 2 June 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - kevan jNorman, OK1,437 contributionsWe stopped in for an hour before going to the tulip festival. This is a very nice park. It has great views of the surrounding areas. You can drive to the main overlook (Pickering) where there is plenty of parking and restrooms. We spent about a half hour there. We also hiked to the North Viewpoint where there were great views as well. You don't need to drive anywhere to reach the trailhead. The trail to the North Viewpoint starts a little ways down the road from the Pickering parking lot. It is not too steep and is a loop trail with two really nice overlooks. There appear to be a lot of additional trails in the park.Written 21 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CRAIG CUtah296 contributionsOur motorhome is 38 ft long with three slides, and we fit perfectly in spot 24. There was plenty of room for the Jeep too. We booked months in advance and had no idea of the layout. Even tucked in the trees, we were able to get satellite tv and cell service.
Anacortes is close by for groceries and there are fruit stands everywhere. We drove to Mt Baker from this park and it was an easy drive.
Very clean park that is across from a rocky beach. Lots of places to walk your pets....and it has a sanidump on site.Written 16 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maija ELangley, WA76 contributionsFor those who love fall decor (& preparing for Halloween, Thanksgiving), this farm needs to be on your list of places to visit!
Pumpkins of all shapes, sizes, colors & combinations. Artistically arranged in beautiful
vignettes throughout the property.
Been on dry fall days, the autumn wind can be chilly. Dress warmly, as everything is outdoors.
It’s a great place for photos of family & friends.
Beware, you’ll end up with more pumpkins than you could imagine buying!Written 22 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Continuing up the road, we saw the sign for the Reserve and decided to take a peek. A busload of kids left as we entered and we had the exhibits to ourselves. This allowed quiet observation and exploration of the exhibits about Padilla Bay and a long study of the aquariums to look at the undersides of sea anemone and flounders in the sand and many other bottom ocean creatures.
We met Kay Reinhardt the Administrator for the facility and she provided us with a short history of the Reserve and NOAA's research of the bay. She further mentioned that she had visited the 29th NOAA research site on Oahu, Paepae o He'eia. and the fishpond that is being rehabilitated in Kaneohe Bay. I grew up living along Kaneohe Bay and knew the fish pond site but had never visited or knew of its history to the Hawaiian people. If I had looked to the left from King Intermediate School that I attended, I would have seen the pond, but it was probably obscured with Mangroves at the time which are being removed now. It was nice hearing Kay's perspective and interest in Hawaii, its people and preservation of its cultural resources.
Consider stopping at the Reserve and take a look around "for free". It is a wonderful and enjoyable experience for anyone curious about the ocean.Written 12 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We knew that it was early in the season and that we wouldn't be seeing Instagram quality displays in the fields but decided to go anyway. We drive around the Tulip trail trying to decide which fields to visit. Roosengarde was more crowded and I dislike crowds so we went to Tuliptown. I was instantly impressed as the two young ladies selling tickets let us and other potential customers know that the fields had been damaged by the winter floods and the lack of sun and so viewing opportunities were limited. We decided to go anyway and we're glad we did. The lack of people made it more intimate and every employee we met went out of there way to help us. Especially helpful were the "T&T" girls in the gift shop in the barn. We enjoyed the tractor ride and the kettle corn. If you want to see the tulips, come in a couple of weeks but if you want to avoid the traffic and crowds, come early!Written 2 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DoloresJacoby.Let’sTravel.98368West Palm Beach, FL9,969 contributionsI now know the meaning of going on a wild goose chase now. It was wonderful! Having read an article on the migration of snow geese and trumpeter swans, this was THE place to find. The Skagit Valley is beautiful and the wildlife wonderful. It is so worth the chase all over the valley.Written 3 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jo GMyrtle Beach, SC3 contributionsThe fruit flavored wines aren't overly sweet but authentic. The pineapple is from Hawaiianjuice extracts and the blueberry and cranberry wines are from Oregon and Washington fruits. Love them.Written 5 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
