There is a lot to see but this museum is next door to the Museum of Natural History and Central Park so it is often overlooked. It is all very fancy but I have no money to be going to Italy!! I went to this market today because I wanted to look at it!! It had a ton of stores but I didn’t buy anything!! It also had some interesting novelty pictures which I will add to my collection of weird things I’ve seen!! - RosiSeattle, WA1,287 contributionsOk, well, coming here in December was probably not the brightest idea as it seemed every kid in New York aged 1-92 wanted to do the same. Either way, we found ourselves in the line for the store (mind you, there is a separate, line for the Jellycat diner that you book time slots for [impossible around the holidays]). The wait is long, but you get plenty of time to see NYC's main Christmas tree from all angles. Adn the place is extremely crowded. Look for the bunny plates and napkins and china. Fun! The staff in all departments is first rate and never stuffy. A coffee counter is available, as well as restrooms for customers (always something to know about in NYC). I realized I didn't want to lug books for my day, so I didn't buy anything apart from coffee. I did get a lot of ideas. - ChristyLong Island, NY50 contributionsI haven’t gone to the M&M store since I was a kid. I forgot how awesome it is but also super crowded (which is to be expected) 3 floors of fun though! Wish I could have spent more time here but was in a little bit of a rush & had to make this a quick visit. I went here primarily to get some of the fun colored M&M’s from the dispensers on the 2nd floor. Soooo many to choose from!! A little pricy at almost $10 for 1/2 a lb but I feel like it’s all part of the experience. The store is very well stocked with a wide variety of candy at reasonable prices. There are items from all over the world. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

On the positive side, we did not have to queue to get in and whilst in there, we had a great time.
The full size yellow taxi was great fun and, for us, all the exhibits were interesting but for real enthusiasts I can imagine they would be disappointed at so few large scale or unique exhibits.

Our nieces took their dolls to get their hair done and then went to tea. The staff was great and the store was well laid out. HP provides a variety gift ideas from chocolate frogs, Rubeus Hagrid shoes to fill. The famous London telephone booth,
9 3/4 platform sign, stationary with your favorite quill and, of course, books. Which house are you ?? A Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherianor, or Ravenclaw???. HP has your supporting scarf or cape. I took advantage of everything, from bagel and salmon sandwiches, to knishes, to delicious chocolate malts. And I filled a bag with goodies to take back to L. A. (It's the water...)
