Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As a New Yorker, I rarely do anything touristy. But this was very special for my family who was visiting and myself as well. The history and view are amazing but the customer service was the cherry on top. Every person we encountered had a smile. Renita Edmond was wonderful! It goes to show how far a smile and kind gesture can go!!

This terminal has it all. Amazing architecture; great location; interesting shopping, high end markets for fish, meat, and produce; various small shops; an Apple store overlooking it all; and good restaurants for every budget. Ans trains in and out of Manhattan!

A Christmas Classic! The horn playing angel installation is my absolute favorite. We didn't ice skate, I did as a child, but there was plenty of Christmas cheer to be had just walking around the area and also enjoying the decorated storefront windows.

Great food ,great atmosphere and fantastic views. The dining package seems expensive but it is great value for money. I would really recommend it.

Lovely building in financial district located right next to World trade Centre. Has own train station with runs the 1 train from South ferry via WTC up to midtown manhattan. Loads of shops ample seating which look like giant pearls loads of police and national guard around. Nice place to visit

At just $10 each, we thought this was a must do activity and one that complimented our tour of Hudson Yards.

The architecture is stunning, simply stunning. The climb itself gets your heart pumping so be prepared as you start the ascent.

Staff were friendly and thorough in their security checks upon entry. There’s some netting the higher up you go.

The construction makes for a stunning central focus in this new development and from the top you can appreciate the beauty of the local area, as well as the piece itself.

Long term dream to gaze up at the Building and explore the foyer, I wasn't disappointed. Gleaming at it, I couldn't have ask for better weather to accentuate the colors.

It’s an iconic building and one that I wanted to see in the city. It’s still worth it, just be aware it’s currently covered in scaffold. The small park at the narrow end has a nice aspect and is a great spot for people watching. Dog watching too, as it has a couple of fenced off leash dog areas.

This has got to be the most beautiful building I've ever seen. A real tribute to those who died in 9/11 and definitely a 2 fingers up to the terrorists. You can see it for miles around and it was the last building I saw before getting to the airport.

We couldn't enter because of something going on there, but we went to see the graveyard. Saw Alexander Hamilton's grave.

Transportation Hub in Lower Manhattan serving both the NYC subway and PATH trains to New Jersey with some of the most impressive architecture found. Known as The Oculus. Great spot to get some amazing photos.

This was a really unusual tour but very enjoyable. It was freezing and because much of the tour was outside in the graveyard we were lucky we were well wrapped up. Our tour guide Jimmy Boyle was brilliant- so full of energy and knowledge.. not just about the cathedral but about N York in general
I would recommend arriving early to catch the video about the cathedral as there’s a lot of info you get on there that’s not included in the tour. We spent all the time in the graveyard and the catacombs but we would have liked the tour to include more of the inside of the cathedral itself, but overall a really interesting, educational and fun experience

We decided to wander through this museum after eating at the tavern, and really enjoyed learning more about George Washington's usage of the tavern! We also appreciated the exhibit on the Marquis de Lafayette, who I think is under-appreciated in the history lessons on the American Revolution. We liked seeing some of Washington's personal effects, and learning more about the role of the Fraunces Tavern as a hub for the Revolution. All of the exhibits are maintained with obvious care and pride, and we really felt like we were stepping back through history. The guided tour was super informative! It's too bad this place doesn't get more attention, although I do think it's nice that there wasn't a chaotic crush of people.

Decades after completion, Woolworth Building is still an encompassing presence in Manhattan. The iconic skyscraper has long been one of the most recognizable buildings in New York. Unfortunately it is not open to public.
