Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- edhel t5 contributionsWorth a visit! Well maintained museum and better maintained than museums we saw in Batac. Best to do the tour with a Knowledgeable guide to fully appreciate it =)Written 5 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Roy V1 contributionVery educational about the history of the family and the political line of the family. It us a revelation for me to know that the late old Crisologo is the author of SSS. I appreciate all the household furnitures, memorabilia and other things, including the car when they were ambushed. The Carjuahe's, the pottery collection, the old typewriters, the military uniform, etc..
The volunteer staff are very accommodating and helpful.Written 14 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Looking back at how we is a moving experience, I only wish they had more guides to entertain the visitors. Because if you wouldn't know the stories and facts about the place. But I Thank you National Museum for taking care of our history.Written 4 June 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Trittle LSan Andres, Philippines173 contributionsFor Vigan regular visitors, always be on the lookout for something new, and Mira Hills is the newest attraction being developed in the area. Situated on a hilltop where the old watertower is located, there is the Fil-Spanish Friendship Gardens and the Buridek Children's Musuem where the younger generation can reconnect with their Ilocano heritage. Patterned after the modern, interactive format of musuems, the 3 huts hold architectural and historical delights for kids -from miniature versions of classic wooden furniture, to dollhouse type replicas of heritage houses, to local Ilocano cuisine. The guide/curator was honest enough to say it's still a work in progress and still needs lots of maintenance, so the LGU would do well to properly invest in this. Outside there is a pool area and playground, including some team-building facilities for teenagers and older adults. I think the zipline is already operational too.Written 29 February 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
