And Los Alamos has some other related museums that take a deeper dive into the Manhattan Project itself and some of the engineering challenges the scientists overcame.
For adults who are short on time and interested in the science and the history of the science, this museum is even better than Bradbury or the Los Alamos Historical museums.

As my wife and I drive across the southern tier, we're stopping by quite a few museums and cultural centers devoted to Native Americans.
One of the best aboriginal museums/galleries/cultural centres I've ever attended.

It was one of the nicest and informative museums we have ever been to.
We spent a little over two hours touring the museum (which has great handouts to go with their displays), learned a lot a bout the history of hot air ballooning and how it played a part in various world wars.

While all the other Natural History museums I have visited have focused on the natural history of the world as a whole, this museum focuses on New Mexico, which I found to be very interesting.
It is very well organized and turns out to be one of the finest museums of its' kind in the WORLD.

Very well planned and arranged museum with many live snake specimens with excellent information, with pleasant , knowledgeable owner willing to answer questions.
Small museum but really great views of all the rattlesnakes, the staff was very friendly and even recommended a Mexican restaurant down the street that we loved also.
