What travellers are saying
- Tomvc1Dublin, Ireland93 contributionsWe rented two bicycles in Bombastic and rode out to Morro. We were initially told to beware of snakes on the hike but once you don't veer off the track you should be fine.
The hike can be a little strenuous in the heat so bring water with you. It's not necessary to have hiking boots we did it in trainers.
The views are fantastic. There are a few stop off points on the way up but the best are saved for last. Great to have a panoramic camera for 360 shots of the islands the beaches and the town below.
A highlight of a day away from the lazy time spent on the beautiful beaches.Written 1 December 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The beach is so beautiful and people are amazing and so kind. I would like to recommend to you all to take a walk on the "Morro do Macaco" to have the best and most pretty view of the place, trust me, is something exceptionalWritten 30 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Thomas HHalmstad, Sweden429 contributionsMany times beaches looks much better than they are in reality. Here you in fact find white sand, and blue water (a little cold), but you will pay for it. To get to this place you will pay a fee to enter into the area with the car (around 30 Reais if summer), and you likely will have to pay for parking (can be 25 Reais, but next to beach and with showers).Written 12 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - db7477Carlsbad, CA2,502 contributionsWe enjoyed exploring Bombas and Bombinhas Beaches. My only regret was that I forgot to bring sunscreen. The two beaches are connected by a boardwalk. We parked at the end of Bombinhas and walked both. The beaches were bustling with families enjoying the fun and sun. It was a great way to spend the day!Written 20 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JM W64 contributionsWaow what a clean water. For sure one of my favorite beach so far. But be sure to go there early. After 10:30 am it's full of people.
The place to see absolutely.Written 8 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The road from Canto Grande to Tainha is a dirt road, with very steep slopes. Lovely views!Written 9 April 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Helinton YVentania, PR266 contributionsWe visited this place in a clear day and that helped a lot to get excellent views of the area. There's a R$10.00 fee to climb the final part of the hill which can be payed at the entrance of the museum. The hike to the top takes approximately 10 minutes. The museum is not big, but worth the visit. There are toilet facilities by the museum.Written 19 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SnakeJazzDancerBoston, MA2,869 contributionsHad the best time here with my family in January. Often found the beach empty during morning walks and afternoons were never too packed. Always felt safe and had endless beautiful views.Written 5 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Bruno FBlumenau, SC47 contributionsVery pretty bay, far from the hot spot Caixa D'aço. Water is clean but cold, the little beach is always crowded.Written 1 July 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
